I ordered this to use on my Le Peppe pizza oven and what great results. First this was far cheaper than Ooni's oval version plus not coated w/nonstick. If you season your cast iron well food won't stick. I placed in oven to preheat then added my steak...meat needs to be at room temperature before cooking. I placed the steak and covered and to hear it sizzle. Already had grill marks when I opened the oven to turn to cook for a minute or two and it was delicious. I then added a pork steak and this too was yummy. A great purchase for more cooking fun.

I have always wanted one of these , I love fajitas, especially at home !This is so perfect and authentic..it’s a heavy cast iron , nicer than the ones at the restaurant..some of the grocery stores even have pre-made fajita kits , which makes it easier for you to throw it together with no prep time and if you are not good in the kitchen.., fajitas always come out yummy. You can’t really screw it up.I love the heavy wooden platter trivet , so you can bring it in sizzling and squeeze some lime in it at the table in front of everyone, they will love it.It’s a bonding experience to share a hot plate of fajitas, it’s always a great dinner or lunch.You can also make other dishes in this , you are not limited to fajitas..breakfast scrambles - Fix up some scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes, throw in some bell peppers and onions , or do a broccoli and cheese scramble with ham in it for the kids.All my vegan friends out there ..you can do a seared fruit and veggie platter , pineapple, avocado , mango , tomatoes and eggplant with toasted sesame seeds in a lovely avacado oil with some bok choy ( it tastes yummy with the grilled pineapple and sea salt with a hint of sugar.This will take your food to the next level with presentation and hot meals straight out of the oven or off the grill ..This is a hand wash only item and will rust in the dishwasher..The wooden handle needs to be removed before putting it in the oven , on the grill or near an open fire 🔥, yes you can take this camping and use it on the fire pit.Grill up a steak , potatoes and ribs.Oven safe up to 440* , use an oven mitt and press the sides to remove and attach the wooden handle.

Hello .. I bought 4 of these as Christmas gifts.- and they are just coming in to use… the 2 that has been used.. got a crack in the iron right away… i have 2 that has not been used yet-And i am thinking its not worth even trying.. i am so bummed.. and so are the people who I gifted these to….

Cooks well, heat distributes well, handle removes well enough.Were I to get another, I would want a wider one to fully use the 6” burner on the stovetop.

I bought this cast iron pan specifically to grill/serve fajitas and seafood for my wife and I.  It is probably meant for single serve, but it is a perfect size for a couple. First, I want to mention that the dimensions in the listing are not correct. The 13.4" long is correct, but the picture shows 8" wide including the handle and the grill surface is actually about 7 inches wide. So, 13.4" x 7" total grilling surface.I used it tonight to cook two pieces of salmon (5 ounces each)  and 4 jumbo shrimp.  It was the perfect size to handle that amount of seafood.  What is really cool is it comes with a wood tray that the cast iron sits in. So, as soon as you pull the pan off the grill, you set it in the wood tray and you're set.  Bam!  It's heavy duty and a nice size for a couple to use for grilling.  If you have big eaters, you may need one per person, but regardless, it is a quality product.  I have several other cast irons and would stack this up with my other top quality pans.

The item arrived, but board was broken in half. You will need to rinse, pat dry and season the skillet before using. remove the handle and oil the cast iron and put in oven. I did 250 degrees for 2 hours. you can set your on time if you want higher for about an hour at 350 degrees.

I've never had a skillet like this one. This is fun to cook in. Very easy to clean.
