We switched our family to Charlie’s Soap from Tide about a week after our son came home from the hospital because we realized our clothes (which had Tide residue on them) were giving him a rash. Once we made the switch, his rashes went away! He’s now 8 months old.Charlie’s Soap leaves our clothes smelling fresh. It also does a great job of getting out baby stains (e.g., poop, spit up) but does require pre-treating for larger messes.We also do a lot of laundry (at least 3-4 times a week) and the small bag lasted us 4 MONTHS. I started using this as a replacement for liquid detergents and an effort to avoid plastic use and micro plastic that are found in the dissolvable sheets. This is a simple powder, but it works amazing. Our clothes have never been cleaner and brighter! It has a light fragrance, and It dissolves very easily in water! Absolutely no complaints! Will continue to use from now on! Great product!

I recently tried Charlie’s Soap Laundry Powder, and overall, I’m really impressed! This detergent is hypoallergenic, which is perfect for my family since we have sensitive skin. It does an excellent job at deep cleaning clothes without any harsh chemicals or fragrances, which I really appreciate.The powder dissolves easily in the wash and leaves clothes feeling fresh without any residue. I've also noticed that it works well on stains, and it doesn’t irritate my skin like some other detergents can. Plus, it's eco-friendly and safe for the environment, which is an added bonus!However, the only downside is that it doesn’t have a strong scent, so if you’re someone who enjoys a fragrant laundry smell, this might not be for you. But if you prefer a clean, natural approach, I think this detergent works great.

Switched to this about a year ago from liquid and will never go back. Family of 7. This LASTS. It is nice and sudsy with just a small amount, and works well with lifting fresh stains and combating odors. I have a bedwetter, pets, and a blue collar man. Have even used to to spot clean my white carpet. Does not prevent my towels from soaking up water. I use a bit of vinegar in combination, for fabric softening.

I have used Charlie’s Soap for the better part of 18 years. First to wash cloth diapers for my babies, and then switching to washing all our laundry. My families sensitive skin appreciates its gentle formula. It does the job on my husband’s work clothes. We appreciate that it is fragrance free, free of harsh chemicals and that it just cleans. We have learned over the years it doesn’t work the greatest with extreme hard water, sometimes allowing clothes to hold on to smells. But, using an oxygen booster helps with that. Vinegar in the rinse cycle can also help deodorize clothes as needed. Over the years I’ve tried other products, but we always return to this tried and true detergent.

After many years of using Gain, the smell suddenly started to irritate my lungs. I did a bit of Google research and found out that Gain's long-lasting scent is all about these crazy chemicals that mess with your body's hormones and isn't anything you'd use if you read the fine print.I thought I'd be giving something up, switching to Charlie's Soap, but I was wrong. My clothes are just as clean and I use less product per load to get the job done - and my clothes are much softer now too! Apparently, making a scent stick to fabric for weeks makes the clothes more stiff and uncomfortable. I used to use dryer sheets from time to time - just to enjoy softer clothing, but now I get that with every single load without having to use any kind of fabric conditioner.

My son is 2 and we have been on a mission to find a detergent that is hypoallergenic, cruelty free AND works. Charlie’s is it!!!! The last detergent we used claim to be hypoallergenic, but still caused my son’s skin to itch, and wasn’t great with stains. I am so shocked at how great this detergent works! I washed some stained onesies he grew out of 6 months ago to donate and Charlie’s actually got the stains out!! My son is no longer itchy and my clothes are beautifully clean. The price point is high, but after wasting money on detergent that didn’t work, this is well worth it to me!
