This was the right tool for the job. It holds my phone securely in place while driving and is clearly visible. Great product!!

This set up has been the only thing I can use in my car. So far, it's been very reliable - no issues whatsoever. And the best part is that it's not specifically for one phone only meaning that anyone can be attached (as long as it fits). Also, it's not permanent. Nothing to stick on the phone or in the car.

Concerned that the Steelie ball couldn’t hold the weight of my iPhone 11 with Defender Case. So far so good. Phone will wobble over bumps and the mounted phone and case pretty much max out the cradle, but it is there for nav which is my main objective in getting it. If it continues to hold this way, I will be happy. Great product, esp for smaller phones with lighter cases.Also customer service from mfr was superb. Couldn’t have successfully mounted my phone without their advice, especially on location of the Steelie ball. I asked questions, sent pictures of my dashboard, and had a very productive conversation with a patient customer service rep who clearly knew his Steelie Products inside and out. He even recommended the model I ultimately got, not the one I was going to get.
