Love this stand! Small profile - probably what I like the most, I have a jeep wrangler and there is not much dash space. Magnet is super strong!! The mag safe plate stays on the magnet and I don’t remove it from the car, I just attach and detach the phone from the MagSafe plate. It’s pretty sturdy, there are times I don’t get the magnetic connection just right and the phone slips but it’s pretty rare and doesn’t affect my opinion on the stand or mount. Once it’s connected properly, the phone does not go anywhere. Very secure. I have noticed certain phone cases work better than others - have to use a MagSafe case, will not connect if the case is not MagSafe unless you buy a MagSafe adapter to attach to the case. Connects the best to the bare phone but I’m not brave enough for that!!

Love the sleek design of these and how well they hold the phone. I have these set up in my personal and work vehicle and really like how little real estate is needed to mount the steel ball in comparison to traditional phone mounts. It is the smallest yet most stable phone mount system I have found. I am in my vehicle a lot for work, often in rugged conditions and not once has my phone fallen off and always stays in position. I will always own these.

I drive a 5th Gen 4-Runner, and have used a Nite Ize Steelie Orbiter phone mount for 5 or 6 years.I finally upgraded to a mag safe capable phone, and was considering a big purchase of a $150+ new phone mount.Then this magnetic socket popped up, a perfect match for my already existing Nite Ize Orbiter AC Vent mount. Instead of spending $150, I picked this up for a fraction of the price.It holds my Iphone 16 Max with no issues at all! Even some mild off-roading, it stayed secure without a problem.

From what I read many people say it won’t charge with the mag-safe charger attached to it so the metal ring that comes with the orbital is not needed. The product itself works great! Prior to this iPhone (non mag-safe) I had the suction cup and metal ball w the adapter you have to clamp around your phone. That was cumbersome and a little bit of a hassle. The mount didn’t hold the phone well and it pressed the buttons at times. The orbital stays on the ball and not your phone so taking it off and on is awesome! Also, if I need to run my power cord behind my steering wheel it’s not that big of a deal. Even if u go the mag-safe charging way you’re still gunna have a cord so with a lot of ppl saying it doesn’t charge w the metal ring attached I decided just to get the orbital.

Works well wish it was a bit lighter. Holds phone securely and slim enough to fit in pants pocket.

lifted 2012 GMC sierra 3500HD Denali - mounted on top center of dash.Owning a lifted truck you get used to bouncing all over the place and having a less than smooth ride. Never once has my phone came off the magnetic mount nor has the 3M tape ever failed. This is one of the few products that i didnt realize how much i needed it until i finally broke down and bought one. Theyre simple but yet worth every penny. I would say be very confident where you want this thing because when you place that 3m tape its not gonna move without significant force or chemicals to loosen the adhesive. Mounting the phone is such a reflex now. as sonn as i sit down I just basically almost toss my phone to the mount and it sticks to the mount. to take off you basically just twist your phone and it pops right off. the actual phone mount is very unintrusive and doesnt get hung up in my pocket. I honestly forget its even attached to my phone sometimes. The magnets are very strong so be careful not to get micro magnets stuck to it from dropping your phone in the dirt. Extra benefit is you can now stick your phone to any magnetic/metal surface which has come in handy for taking photos and using my phones flashlight. stop thinking about it and ditch your old phone mount.

Not much to say, but I absolutely love this system—easy to use, VERY strong magnets, and I couldn’t be happier.
