M.2 screw succumbed
I had a PC motherboard with an M.2 slot that could not be used because nothing could release the already fitted screw. Tried everything in my arsenal of bits and screwdrivers, to no avail. Two minutes with this tool however and it was out! To be able to grip the smallest of countersunk screw heads is quite simply incredible. It's almost worth buying just to look at. The quality of engineering is second to none.

It Does the job.
These pliers were bought to remove a rusted raised head philips self tapping screw which secured a fuel filter holding-bracket on the underside of a VW Polo car. The head of the screw was badly corroded thus impossible to remove with a philips screwdriver. Due to limited access around the screw-head, it had to be the long-nosed variant of this plier. Luckilly there was no interactive rust between the steel self-tapper male threads and the female recipient as the bracket is plastic. So the screw wasn't seized as such, only tight. Using two hands and as much of my gripping strength possible grasped the head of the screw with the pliers turning anti-cockwise. Hey presto, the screw broke free with an audible click which indicated it was in tight. So yes these pliers done the trick wich save messing around with drilling machines and screw-extractors which aren't always successful. If a screw is seized (metal to metal) and the head damaged I would suggest copious amounts of release oil and left overnight or as long as possible for the oil to work. Then, if practicable, attempt to "shock" the problem screw with a hammer and dolly or flat ended pin punch of a suitable diameter. This procedure will greatly reduce the demand put on these pliers. I can recommend this product as they worked for me. ......Colin P.

Gripped
Having previously bought a pair of this brand's larger pliers, I knew the quality would be top notch (which it is!), and the functionality as unique (in gripping rusty old screw & bolt heads to remove them - in this case smaller ones than my other larger pair). I'd definitely recommend these.

Very useful top quality pliers.
Very well designed, 'grippy' pliers for removing small awkward and chewed up screws, bolts and nuts. Excellent quality - made in Japan.
