Q: Can studs be replaced for safety studs?

Not sure I understand your question but there is a variety of replacement studs available.

The studs are all the same size it’s the shape of the soleplate that gives that impression

Replacement studs should be available at most sports retailers. Take your old studs along to compare to the old ones. The thread is pretty unversal
