The driver is available on our official website and please install it by following these steps: 1. Please download the latest driver from our official website, save it on your computer's Drive D/E/F, do NOT save it on Drive C. Driver for BrosTrend AC3: https://trendtechcn.com/Product.aspx?ProductId=325&TypeId=2 2. Extract the driver file (right click the compressed file, and then select EXTRACT ALL to extract the driver file). You may need to select the Destination of the extracted driver folder. Then an EXTRACTED driver folder will be created. 3. Click the Setup application which is located in the extracted driver folder and then RESTART your PC after the installation is finished. 4. Please plug it into the USB port of your PC via its attached cradle. Please do NOT plug the wifi adapter via any USB hubs or any extension cables. Note: 1. Please turn off your firewall or any anti-virus software before you install the driver. 2. Please disable your built-in wifi card before you use BrosTrend wifi adapter. 3. If BrosTrend wifi adapter works, the blue LED light should turn on and it should be detected as REALTEK 8812BU USB Wireless Lan. This doesn't work through the cradle with extension cable but does work when i directly plug it into a usb port. can any help?

That is weird, should work with a cradle/extension included. Only thing I can think of make sure it's plugged into a USB 3.0 socket. If problem persists contact seller and try a replacement maybe youve got a defective extension.

Will this connect my windows 7 pc to my virgin hub 20 ft away

I have used it for exactly the same thing, my hub is on the ground floor and my windows 7 pc is in the loft, and it works fine. D.J.
