Well constructed cosmetic addition to Brio set
Solid construction. But scale is massive in comparison to Brio trains and characters just so you know. Curiously the light sequence shown in the video is incorrect it shows a Green and Amber combination which doesn’t actually occur. The sequence is actually the same as the UK traffic light sequence. Red, Red and Amber, Green. Green, Amber, Red. A button press on the top of the lights takes it red to green and another button press green to red. The final colour is held for a few seconds before all the lights go out. A great cosmetic addition to the Brio set. The video needs updating it’s incorrect demonstration of light sequencing actually hindered by decision to buy.

Great addition to a Brio train set
This light is a great addition to a Brio set. Pressing a button cause a light sequence. Not sure how sturdy it would be etc , so maybe for 3-4 years upwards.

Quality and good for small hands
My 2 year old is currently obsessed with traffic lights and this is a simple, well made toy that is easy for him to hold. You press the button on the top and the lights go in sequence and then you press again and they go back up in sequence.

Nice toy, could have been much better.
This is a nice toy and could have been much better but the manufacturer chose to dumb it down. It is a missed opportunity. The problem with it is that when you turn it on, the lights go through a specific sequence, then turn off. First the red light is on for a few seconds, and then chnages to amber light, then green. The green stays on for a few seconds then the unit turns off. Hardly educational. My son is just turned 4 years old and thinks this light is silly. What would have been much more educational and fun, is if it came with a program that did this: Press the button and it comes and the light is red, and stays red. Press the button again, it changes through amber to green, and stays green. Press again, it changes back up to red. Press and hold, it switches the unit off. This would have allowed children to simulate real traffic lights and make up scenarios with their trains sets. May be one day I'll put a my own chip in it that does just that.I can only shake my head at the stupidity of modern toys.
