I Love this rice. I almost didn't have to eat anything else, it is so nutritious. I had a small portion of rice with curry for lunch, and was so surprised when I didn't need dinner or felt hungry until the day after. Just give it a try, you won't regret it. Proper food, next level nutrition.

This product is excellent.The aroma when cooking is delightfully sweet and earthy.The flavour has a slight nutty taste.It has more fibre than regular white rice and is therefore significantly easier on my digestive system which struggles with regular white rices, thus when cooked it is slightly firmer to the bite than regular white rices, to call it "al dente" seems appropriate.It can be cooked at the same time in the same pot with other rices, I personally use a rice steamer. (seriously, get a steamer, it will change your life and saves a lot of time.)It imparts a purple tinge to your other rices if you mix them, and it itself goes from black to a dark purple when cooked.I personally mix this at a 50/50 ratio with Jasmine or Basmati.This rice is very similar to the Red version that Minvita do as well, except the red one is sweeter in taste whereas this black is earthier.
