Does what it says on the tin
I don't have a state-of-the-art huge 3D all-singing-all-dancing multi-media entertainment system. I have a Toshiba, 40" LCD flatscreen, a Virgin Media box and a Playstation 3. I brought this so that I could hook the PS3 up to my TV and watch Bluerays and play games in in HD.Looking at the sheer choice available for HDMI cables including the massive range of prices, I thought "sod it" and got the cheapest one going. It works perfectly and does what it's supposed to do. I'm no visual engineer or artist, I'm just a bloke that wants to watch/play stuff in HD. If you showed me a picture with the £2 cable, and one with the £20 cable, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and I doubt many others would either. In conclusion, don't bother with an expensive cable. It's just a cable. It's much much better than the normal non-HD cable and the quality is fantastic, HD quality. But you're not a video engineer or a sound technician. You're just some bloke who wants to watch stuff on his reasonable-sized TV in high deff.Save 18 quid and buy this one.

cables fine. postage took ages
Works as expected, from my recorder box to my tv, no problems to report, will remove a star for postage though because it took an absolute age (to the point where I forgot I ordered it, and was then surprised when a package arrived on my doorstep)

Good and Cheap and Good
As is pointed out here, the only difference between these and ***some*** more expensive cables is the amount of protection that will prevent damage to the inner cores from knocks and twists and being jammed into places and under things. If you're using them like most people are using them: plugged into a tv and DVD/Blu-Ray/Satelite box/Freeview box - and essentially forgotten about, you need nothing other than these. Picture quality is perfect (it's digital so why wouldn't it be?!) and the fittings are exact, not loose or too tight.Don't spend money on more expensive cables and get ripped off.

A little disappointed
Bought it initially to use with the PS3 and was a little disappointed. Had perfect picture, but no sound, just a constant clicking. Thought it was a faultly cable and was going to send it back. I decided to then swapped the cables over with my bluray player and everything was ok both for the DVD and the PS3. So not sure what the problem was but plan on trying it with an Xbox to see if there is an issue with gaming consoles. Apart from the cannot complain about the price and I suppose you get what you pay for.

Great Value and quality
This lead works just as well as an expensive one from electrical stores. I purchased 2 of these leads and they work fine and the picture quality is as good as A more expensive lead. A great buy if you have recently bought a Blu-ray player or HD tv then don't waste money on a £20 lead this works just as well with the same picture quality.

Cheap and effective HDMI cable
Cheap cable and does the job. For all those people out there, who think expensive cables give a better signal, please understand that HDMI is a digital signal (not analogue) and so there is no loss of signal.
