It Works fine.
My old adapter lasted about seven years and just stopped working one day. I knew it was a fault with the adapter as the small green led light was not working (i checked the fuse first). This new adapter does not have a small led light so if this one packs up I won't be sure if it's the printer or the adapter. Also, on my old adapter the length of the lead from the printer to the adapter was 1.4m (I just measured it). With this new one that length is 1.18m. My printer sits on a shelf 1.3m high. This means the adapter is dangling and the weight of the adapter (which isn't much, granted) is putting a bit of stress on the connection to the printer. It would have been better if that length was a bit longer so the adapter would sit on the floor. The adapter works fine though. Will it last? Who knows.
