Described as smudgeproof and clump free. Worse still it's not eligible for Return so a waste of £19!

I have bought Blinc for a while now but the usual place I buy from couldn't dispatch in time, so I tried the reformulated version of this. I love it.Blinc was great, but towards the end of the day I found it was flaking. This doesn't look great, but more importantly it meant that my lenses were becoming unbearably uncomfortable by about 7pm and I had to take them out every evening. Cruelty free is very important to me so I came to Amazon to buy the Blinc one through them and happened on this which was also cruelty free, and the tubing type which I've discovered I prefer to normal. I thought I'd give it a go and I'm really pleased I did.This stuff doesn't flake *at all*, and it goes on beautifully. This was the other issue I had with Blinc, that it seemed very dry after only 3 or 4 weeks. I've used this for a month now and it's still going on really well. It's also cheaper, so really what's not to like!In short, if you wear lenses definitely get this over Blinc.I've taken off a star on the easy to remove bit because this stuff stays put unless you (gently) work at it with warm water and pressure. This is a plus point I think as it means it won't come off if you just rub your eyes without water, but it's definitely not your normal 'give it a quick wipe and it's gone' mascara.

I bought this mascara after much reviewing for the best smudeproof formula & this mascara, I have to say, has been the best I have ever had for that! It really does stay put with no panda eyes whatsoever. So I was really pleased on that front. But would I buy it again? Sadly not I'm afraid! I was so disappointed that I would be having to apply goodness knows how many coats to get any kind of definition, length or thickness or volume to my lashes (& even then I still dont get the big eyes I like) It just doesn't go to the end of my lashes at all well & just leaves them looking clumpy because of having to put so many coats on. It's even harder to apply to my bottom lashes & doesn't want to stay there when I'm applying it. My lashes aren't that short particularly, but are quite fair, so mascara is a nessecity to bring my eyes to life. If time is tight, it is frustrating that it takes so long to get the result I'm after. So sadly I wont be buying again I'm afraid which massively dissapoints me as I really thought after a bit of working out how to apply it properly to get the look I like I'd be a big fan. Hence why the 3 stars. That's purely for the smudeproof formula but not for overall effect & ease to apply.

I agree with a lot of the reviews in that this mascara is just fantastic for its non-smudging. I had to stop putting mascara on my lower lashes as i couldn't find any one that didn't leave me with smudges - always having to check I wasn't looking like I had been to the coal mine. Even previous 'go to, swear down' brilliant ones had abandoned me, leaving their smudgy trace on my cheeks...then along came this one....no smudges, even when I tentatively put it on my lower lashes. SO...why only four stars...it is infuriatingly difficult to apply - you definitely need a base coat and I have found, using a different brush helps. Also, and I hate to disagree with previous reviewers but it is quite difficult to remove - I guess you would expect that. 'Simple' eye make up remover has come to my rescue though so problem solved (I hope!). I will definitely buy it again however, because any hurdles are worth overcoming to be able to face the world with a clean face!! :-)

I needed a smudge-proof, water-proof, vegan mascara for my wedding day, and this fit the bill completely! An outdoor wedding with a bit of rain, and quite a few happy tears & lots of hugging is that absolute test for mascara and it passed with flying colours : ) Also slept in it & woke up with it perfectly intact! Super easy to remove with a sponge and water/ in the shower (as per instructions), with no chemical makeup remover required.Re customer service, the mascara was a few days late (along with other things from other websites - not just this) owing to royal mail. As the wedding was in a few days, Jacky went above and beyond, and was so lovely & helpful over the phone. She sent out another immediately that day, which got to me in time. It also come with some tasty treats enclosed! Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Jacky!

Looking at my order history I have purchased this item 8 times . Usually I am very pleased with the product and have recommended it to friends. My last two purchases have been disappointing. The mascara was very dry so needed several applications it also dried up completely in a matter of weeks. I think they may have altered the manufacturing process, if so go back to the old way. For a product with such a short life cycle I don’t think it’s value for money.
