Gootium Canvas 'Carry on Bag?'
* **Quality:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[Hard-wearing canvas type feeling. Used it for travelly and it held up really well]* **Shipping:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[Delivered as expected, within the estimated time frame]* **Value:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[Worth the price definitely, this style of bag and quality was surprisingly difficult to find in retail stores, so Amazon and/or the seller came in clutch]**Pros:**[Spacious, well made, a bit large but Whizair disnt bat an eye when using it as a carry on despite it being slightly bulky]**Cons:**[If I had to nit-pick itd be to the branding, but big badges and branding i find jarring. Also I dont think its water proof, hut it did rain when i used it to travel]**Recommend?** ✓ Yes ☐ No

Best rucksack I've owned
The Large (30l) Rucksack is incredibly spacious, easily accommodating all my work essentials and then some. It's also ideal for hiking, offering ample room for outdoor gear. It features 2 side pouches ideal for drinks, a front pouch for easy accessible items and an interior zipped pocket for to securely store smaller items.I find myself out in the elements alot with work and so for I've found that this rucksack is pretty good in heavy rain fall, mainly due to the thick material. Granted it will get soaked but I have yet to see any rain get through to the interior. On top of its practically and resilience I've also received numerous compliments on its stylish vintage design from strangers. My Father was so impressed with the quality of the rucksack that he ordered one for himself.I can't recommend this rucksack enough. I had my doubts with it when ordering but once I received it I knew I'd made a smart purchase.

You’re heart ruling you’re head
I don’t doubt there are probably more practical back packs available with more zipped pockets you can buy at a similar price tag that may be easier to live with. So why this one?.For me, there is no sign of nylon anywhere, just thick canvas material dyed to give off the effect of a washed out look.I like the double stitching used & how neatly it’s been finished off from the front & back. This reminds me of a good quality pair of jeans. The manufacturer logo is kept to a minimum with a thick leather tag neatly stitched in the center of the opening flap approximately 3 inches wide by 2 inches high, quite discrete.Don’t expect a rigid body far from it this bag will collapse very easily if it’s not well packed. The straps are of a thick weave protected with little patches of leather to stop them from fraying. On the underside of the straps small studs are inserted to hold the pockets closed. The buckles are effectively there for show, yes they can be adjusted but it’s just not necessary, especially if you’re in a hurry. The buckles don’t appear to be made out of brass but bear in mind this bag is made to a budget. The shoulder straps are not heavily padded but in my opinion suits the bag well, it looks minimalist. As for comfort I find it perfectly acceptable on a day trip. You have three pocket compartments on the outside which are generous in size, the middle one being slightly larger than the two on the side & one main cavernous sack approximately 30 litres in capacity with a small zipper pocket on the inside to keep your valuables in.Compared to my nylon back pack this is heavier, it’s not waterproof & undoubtedly will weigh more if you’re caught in a heavy down poor. Is it a fair weather bag? Yes I think so, but saying that it will tolerate light showers. As I said perhaps not the most practical of bags but I think you buy this bag for its rugged good looks that will look even better with wear & if you’re conscious of a 1950’s style of bag then this might be the one.

Fierce looking retro style rucksack!
Seems well made, strong canvas with leather bits!I have the green colour & it looks excellent...just the job for going out & about with the few bits I usually take out....dog water bottle & blanket ( so he can sit on chairs in cafes!) Pencil/diary, few plasters etc, dog treats, swiss army knife & plenty of room for anything I buy.Good looking bag! Good price & so much better than the stiff, foam padded modern style ones in my opinion. Recommend it!!!

Plenty of room inside for laptop and books/paperwork.
Bought for my daughter as a replacement for her old one. Good strong rucksack that has plenty of room for almost anything. Previous one lasted well and was used daily, so this new one should last as long. Great value for money and a well designed piece of kit.

Great bag, sturdy and roomy.
This is a great bag, I really love the vintage style and overall sturdy and practical design. I love the press stud closures under the buckle closures, so you get an authentic vintage look with the perks of modern practicality.

Great, robust canvas ruck sack.
This is the perfect rucksack to take on an adventure. It's the type that I reckon will last for years and really looks the part. Plenty of room inside.

Zip broke
Pretty good bag, has a lot of space and is pretty good quality. Disappointingly, the zip of the inner pocket stopped working quite quickly, and won't zip up anymore. Bag is still useable though.
