Very calming to just paint with the water and then leave it five and your ready to go. My 4 year old also loves painting on this and keeps him busy for half an hour or so.Not to large in size with the main painting area being a bit over a4. No mess as it comes with a cover for the brush and easy to empty and dry the base.

A bit pricey for what it is, as the material that the "painting" is done on is cheap and common calligraphy practice material in China. But mounting it nicely on a board and presenting it as such is a genius idea. You can't well give someone a sheet of paper and tell them it's magical and they can write on it over and over with water, but you can give them this and it comes in a nice box and has a little booklet to explain what they are supposed to do with it and looks elegant when set up. So. The recipient loved it and everyone else in the room wanted to play with it, so well worth it. I'm tempted to get one for myself even though I have sheets of the magical paper.

The board works as it says it will, a lovely product. Slightly disappointed that it doesn't look exactly like it does on the box, there is a small lip around the edge, and it looks cheap in comparison. Still worth a look if you like interesting items on your desk.

Very calming and pleasant to dawb with

The only concern I had was it didn't arrived wrapped or protected in any way. As it's a present it needed to be pristine, which it was, but might have benefitted from some bubble wrap.

Lovely! Fun for my girl, no mess to clean up, and lets her paint. I did buy little felt tip pens for her to use, as she’s very young.

Saw one of these at my brother’s house. My son loved it so ordered one for his birthday. It arrived well packaged and in a lovely box. Unfortunately on opening we found that the coating on the board that you paint on was already peeling off in the corner. Only a small amount and in the corner but looked a bit rubbish and like it would probably peel off more when used. It wasn’t cheap so have returned and ordering a replacement to see if we are luckier this time.Also, as a previous reviewer said, there is a lip around the board so it doesn’t look nearly as nice as the one in the illustration.

I bought this for my younger clients but even my older clients love this. Draw/paint how your feeling at the beginning of a session and whilst you work through your feelings the picture disappears. So simple! Well made and looks good.
