Very nice book. Easy to read and lots of relevant information and advice. I liked that the authors extensive experience was allowed to shine through and as such it is more than just a detailed text on the subject. I haven't kept discus for 20 years but was planning to get back into it. This book is a perfect reintroduction and it looks as though the current edition has kept it relevant.

I like the authors style, though some might find it a little rambling, there are spelling and grammar mistakes if that bothers you, but as a new discus keeper I found it very informative and a good reference, that I am sure I will return to in the future

I had so many hopes for this book, my path with Discus has had a few problems and some were addressed in this book. However, it is repetitive and not really helpful until near the end with the question and answer bit. The author has views on how things should be and some of these are definitely not right.We will have to wait for the definitive book on Discus but I don't think one has been written yet.

This book is a great read and very informative.It opens your mind to the best way of keeping discus and not just throwing them into a normal tank of water.After reading this book and putting things into practice my discus are a lot happier. It's a book you can always go back to for help and reference.

I have kept all sorts of tropical fish for more than 45 years, and find this to be good insight into keeping these fish and it helped me greatly many thanks for taking the time to write this book

Good manual book on discus well worth having goes through all the things you need to no on discus and easy reading

I really wanted to like this book, hoping it would be the holy grail on discus, however it is repetitive and badly published. Some of the photos are of poor quality and it's littered with obvious spelling mistakes. With all of that in mind, it is not worth £25, probably half of that. Shame, as I'm sure the author is very knowledgeable on the subject.
