I bough this for my son two christmas's again. It sat in the cupboard ever since. Now in isolation and struggling for activities we finaly got it out. My 10 year old son was keen to get working on it. So was I. For the first 30 minutes we worked together. Then it started getting more trickie. I ended up doing 80% of it myself, and feeling quite proud when I finished it. I doubt my son could have done it alone. It's a great kit, but certainly quite challenging.

This is a lovely educational gift for boys, it teaches them skills. Always good with meccano.

The product is great! I enjoyed it until I noticed a piece was missing just over half way through the build, a bit disappointed about that. And there is no option for me to get in contact with the seller, unsure if I can still return after throwing out the bag for the pieces to go in. Feel like I’m better buying the piece I need.I’d recommend checking all pieces are there before starting to construct it to make sure nothing is missing. But overall a great product, fun to build! And the size is great!

I used meccano as a child and got this for my grandson - am sure he will love building it as he loves putting things together.

I bought this for my nephew who is 8 and on the bright side and he loves puzzles and models, though he absolutely loved this, he struggled a little without supervision, it is a nice model but very fiddly, it has many extremely tiny parts so even though it says on the box it is suitable for 8+I think maybe 10+ age group would be more at ease with this piece because instead of cheering him I might have ended up making him feel puzzled!! (sorry I couldn't help it:)
