Franklin DMQ221 Collins English Dictionary with Thesaurus

THE BEST QUALITY

Its no more than a toy for very little fingers. Keyboard so very small. Ordered from Amazon UK. It arrives from Amazon USA. To return it I have to send it back to the US following very inadequate instructions. It has to be sent using DPD with no instructions of how to contact the carrier. It seems I am stuck with it.

Very easy to use and most helpful

This product is poorly designed with a display that is too small and lettering difficult to read. Its dictionary content is less than in earlier models. It is a waste of money

This item is great value for the money and is an excellent solver of crosswords etc.

Product easy to understand good r many uses

Hoped that this would help me with my crossword but the buttons are so small that I was pressing 2 or 3 at once! and the screen is tine too, making reading it a chore (I needed a magnifying glass!!!)Sure it would be great for someone with delicate fingers, more delicate than mine anyway, but of no use to me.I also would not have bought this had I known that it was being shipped to the UK from Las Vegas! I feel that Amazon ought to have informed me of this. It took over a month to be delivered and now I suppose I will be waiting for the same amount of time for my refund, if not longer!This is not the sort of service that I am used to from Amazon. I hope this is not a harbinger of more problems......

The dictionary fails to find many normal English words which my older (damaged) crossword solver (CMW-109) finds easily. similarly the anagram solver cannot find solutions found by the old solver (or in one instance, the new solver found 2 solutions whereas the old one found 18). At best this makes it unreliable and of limited use. The foregoing is compounded by the fact that having sent two e-mails to the company's UK after-sales service address asking for advice no one has offered me the curtesy of a reply. All in all poor service and value for money.
