Ernie BallRegular Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Bass Strings - 50-105 Gauge

I don't usually use Ernie Ball strings but I bought these because they were a good price and on the off chance. I was glad I did, I have to say, as an all round string for playing at home, practicing and general noodling etc, they're absolutely spot on.They have a nice bright tone but not overly clanky, they feel nice under the fingers, not too much string noise, length was good as I have a string-thru bridge, and they sound nice when playing chords over many strings.I will be buying these again when I come to replacement as I think they are not only great value, but a great string in their own right.I use Fast Fret on the strings before and after use so they have lasted a very long time and have retained quite a lot of their bright tone and playability. I would recommend that you do similar with either Fast Fret or the D'Addario Waves equivalent. You can buy oil top ups for the little pads when they go dry too which saves a few quid and keeps your strings going longer.

Still my go to strings after trying many other brands and gauges. Have never broken one in practice or playing live. Long lasting, they sound great too

good strings, feel a bit metallic but that’s up to preference.i wish they offered a short-scale version of this !

I've bought Ernie Ball strings before for my guitars and they've been fantastic, so I decided to get a set of these bass strings for a bass I was working on, and safe to say they're great. They have a good sound, with a nice twang (great for slap) which lasts for a while after you put the strings on, and then a solid smoother sound after the twang fades. Although the strings may seem a bit pricey in comparison to other cheaper strings on the market, I would say they are pretty worth it if you want some quality strings for your instrument.
