Good product, good value
I bought this item a couple of weeks ago and, so far, I am very pleased with it. It does what it says and is very easy to use. The pouches are not technically reusable, but they are made of a good quality material, so that you can wash them and reuse them as needed. The supplier has ensured me that the pouch will not leak nasties if reused (the way that some plastic water bottles do). Washing the pouches after use takes a little time (you have to rinse it out a few times), but it's not a problem for me personally. I use the pouch to feed purees to my 7 month old child; we are doing a combination of purees and baby-led weaning, and the pouches mean that I don't have to spoon feed him and he can be in charge of feeding himself (he has figured out how to use the pouch quite quickly). Having said that, I must add that being 7 month old, my boy does not know how to squeeze it yet, so he just sucks the contents out and every once in a while I have to squeeze the bottom of the pouch in order to move the food along. The only trouble for me with this pouch is that my son likes it a little too much, so I am trying to limit the times I give it to him to once a day. Also, if you are going to use the pouch for weaning, please be aware of the dangers of giving your child only purees and no finger foods (finger foods are essential because babies need to learn how to chew fairly early on, otherwise they get stuck on purees).

Saves money!
I like to go out a lot with my baby and I find that the pouches are the handiest method of storing purees. It is so much cheaper and tastier too to make your own and every month I have a big cook off and fill the freezer up. He now likes lumps but can find them a bit chewy on their own therefore I make up pots of chunky veggies and meat and then add it separately to a pouch of creamed sweet potato or suede and butternut squash. The mechanism is so easy to use and I do like the pouches however I do have one small criticism - the pouch spoons do not fit these as the hole is too big. The pouches are easy to clean though and I do re-use mine (you can cold method sterilise them using milton tablets).Recently I brought some of the Infantino pouches and they fit onto this pouch filler which is handy because they are small enough for the pouch spoons to fit into them if I am on the move.If the puree is too liquidy then it can be a rush to remove the pouch and put either a new pouch on or the stopper in place without making a mess, but practice makes perfect.Because I like to make a lot of purees I recently brought an Infantino filling station too which I recommend but I still like this one. The Intantino filling station has three funnels however you have to unscrew the funnel each time you fill up a pouch so it can be a bit more time consuming than this pouch filler - the Fill n Squeeze's simple design means that you can fill up more pouches quicker. Also the Infantino pouches can be used with this product but the Fill n Squeeze pouches do not fit into the Infantino filling station.I'm glad I've got both but if someone is choosing between the two, then it depends on how often you make purees. This takes up less space too.One little tip is that air gets in so if you push the air out of the pouch whilst it is still attached, then you can angle the plunger to refill the air space with food, then you can fill it up more.

Ingenuity and ease
The system is very good and easy to use, no unscrewing, just push in and out the pouches, that's what I liked more then the Infantino. Why I gave only 4 stars is the puchesz they're really not reusable, it's just a made up thing, it's really hard to clean them with the brush. I just use them once and bought Infantino pouches and use those once and throw them in the bin. Lot of waste but when the baby needs special food this system is a life saver.

Hard to clean pouches
This is a great idea and so easy to use. Saves space and reduces waste where you are able to store every last drop of puree. However the pouches are not easy to clean even with the special brush. Around the top is especially hard; I've left these with soapy water in, shaken them, scrubbed them and rinsed lots of times only to still find there is still food trapped in there. Also they do not dry properly where they are mostly sealed. Pouches with zip locks at the bottom would be better.

Superb product- game changer
I stumbled across this looking for weaning things to buy my sister for her 1st baby. She asked me for help as I have older children.I wish this was around when I had had them. Its brilliant and makes the weening babies so much easier. I'm.actuallh going tonuse it to make my 5year old fruit smoothie pouches. It's great to know exactly what your child is eating and with the fill n squeeze you can do just that. I used a hand blender in the large fill n squeeze tub, it fitted in no problem and the really useful thing about the tub is it comes with measurements on the side, so you can monitor how much is going into each pouch. The only down side I would say is the plastic is now stained orange from the carrots I blended for my nephew.Pouches are great, look hard wearing and durable for toddlers to squeeze. I havent tried to wash them out yet though so can't comment on that.I would 1000% recommend this to any parent weaning there baby.

Love it!
I was fed up with buying the expensive veg pouches but both my daughter (2.5yrs) and son(10months) loved them so I thought wouldn't it be great if you could fill your own reusable pouch. Before I started planning my own venture I thought I'd better research if this idea had already been produce and low and behold - Fill n Squeeze got there first! What a great job, simple easy to use and reusable so once it's bought there's no more cost. Both my kids love my homemade veg pouches and I also do yogurt and fruit.I'll continue using it even when my kids go to school hen I know they've got a portion of veg in there lunch box.Well done Fill n Squeeze you've put my mind at rest knowing that my kids have plenty of fruit and veg!
