Cars 3: Driven to Win for PlayStation 4

A brilliant game, my Grandson is mad about the cars films and loves this. The game is easy to play so oldies like me can enjoy too!!!

I brought this because my 7 and 3 year olds are obsessed with McQueen and my 7 year old has recently recovered the PS4 haha and I wanted sensible games for his age.They both love it and I do too, we often play with multiplayer. It does take some getting used to with all buttons and tricks that sometimes needs doing to earn stars or points to unlock certain cars. There’s a thomasville playground that my 3 year old loves as he can just drive around and practice because he can’t really keep up with the racing. I’ll admit I’ll have a cheeky turn when they are in bed haha! It’s love mario kart so if your a mario fan you’ll love this.

Got this to introduce my 6 year old to the world of games and the PS4. Although he's never used a controller before the game controls are simple enough that he was soon up and running and driving around the various tracks. There's a little tutorial to start off with which explains the controls, then you can start racing and as you complete races you unlock more tracks, cars etc.The graphics are good - nothing groundbreaking by PS4 standards I would say but pretty enough and nice smooth animation. There is a good variety of tracks and racing modes (straight up race, race with weapons to shoot each other, race with stunts etc) and I'm informed that most of the important characters from the Cars franchise are in there!As mentioned on Easy it's simple enough for someone who's never gamed before to get stuck in, but put it on Hard and it was interesting enough for me to have a decent play by myself! Two player mode is fun, you can shove each other off the track, fire weapons at each other etc (it's all very cartoony and no intimation of harm from the weapons - good fun for any age).Nice to finally have a decent arcade racer for the younger demographic on the PS4!

The kids love this game. It's easy and intuitive for smaller minds to grasp, fun to play, fun and busy graphics, lots of modes, great unlocks and up to 4 players on a single TV.Recommended.

My 3 Year old son literally plays this every day and keeps him occupied for so long, lots of different game play options.
