Delicious
These are really nice strings. I’ve put them on a Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH and the first thing I noticed was how great they feel. Especially when compared to whatever cheap, nasty cheese wires were on the guitar when I got it. Really smooth and nice to play. Sound wise, when playing clean they’re nice and bright without being too jangly, if you know what I mean. The low notes have a nice round tone and the highs are really tasty. With distortion, they sounded even better and had to go and change my pants shortly after.I don’t think they’re as bendable as EB Super Slinky’s, however don’t let that be a put off, it’s probably not by very much, you just need to use a little more strength when bending, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.I am currently having issues with tuning stability, but hoping that’s just down to the new guitar settling in and possibly needing some adjustment. Time will tell, but very impressed so far.

super long lasting
The Elixir 19002® Electric Guitar Strings with OPTIWEB® Coating are a game-changer for guitarists who want both excellent tone and durability. These strings deliver the same crisp, bright tone as uncoated strings, but the OPTIWEB® Coating adds impressive longevity.I've been using these strings for over a year and they still sound fresh and lively, even with regular playing. The coating technology does a fantastic job of protecting against corrosion and debris, which is a common issue with other strings. Plus, the anti-rust plating on the plain steel strings ensures the entire set stays in top shape for much longer than standard strings. The natural feel of the OPTIWEB® Coating is another bonus. It doesn’t feel slippery or overly smooth like some coated strings can, making it a joy to play. For anyone tired of constantly changing strings, these are an excellent investment.

Absolutely worth the extra money
I tend to go through strings fairly quickly - less so from breakage but more because they wear out and get corroded/rusty. Playing for a couple of hours most days I'd usually go through a set of strings in around 2-3 weeks before they feel bad enough for me to change them.Decided to give coated strings a go and my first set lasted 2 months before one broke - even at the 2 month mark they still felt fine and I saw no need to change them. Grabbed another set and they are still on my guitar 9 months later. No breakage, hardly any buildup on the strings, no rust/corrosion - they don't sound dead, still have great tuning stability on my Telecaster. The coating doesn't feel sticky at all to me like some suggest, however it is obviously a different texture to regular uncoated strings which takes a little bit of getting used to. However after the initial adjustment period they feel absolutely excellent to play. Some people say they sound less bright overall than uncoated strings however I don't really have that issue - to me they sound about the same as uncoated strings after you've used them for 5 or 6 hours, however they sound like that forever - its worth the tradeoff to me. I suspect the brightness may be more of an issue with heavier gauges however the 9-42 set sound great.Overall these are excellent strings and are definitely worth the extra money - I won't be going back to buying uncoated strings any time soon as these also work out much cheaper for me.

Decent strings
I get though a set of strings every two months (or less) and decent quality makes a difference; I go for the brighter sounding version but thats a personal taste. Are they worth the extra, maybe, as my hands tend to corrode lesser strings.Playing for 5-6 hours every three days I think the strings justify the additional cost. They deliver a more consistent sound without the excessive brightness some have when new.

Excellent Service
Have always used Ernie Ball strings in the past. These came recommended so thought I would try them out.A little more expensive than Ernie Ball but I really like the quality. So far I have been really been impressed with the quality and feel., would definitely recommend trying them out.Really good service in terms of delivery so would purchase again.

You know it makes sense!
I've been using Elixir Optiweb on my guitars and basses for almost two decades now. Buying anything else is a false economy imho. Keep 'em clean, and they'll last and last. These ones I bought for my Fender American Original Jazzmaster, and (cos it doesn't get as much use as my Strat Plus) they're still like new over six months on. The only other brand I use are LaBella's chunky Jamerson flats (they've been on my Fenders over a decade now; and again, worth paying that extra outlay, the tone still beautiful after all this time etc).
