Bought this item about 6 months ago. The reading that I get compared to my doctor is off by 30 or more points. I contacted the company and they sent me a link to their video and suggestions on how to properly take a sample. I asked about calibrating the unit and they told me the medium came from Germany and they wouldn't be able to. I made sure to follow the video and sample suggestions and got the same high readings. I contacted the company again and never got a response. It has now been months now and the unit is totally unreliable. If you want to waste your money or buy 2 or3 of them trying to get a good one then have at it. I would suggest you try another brand or take a $100 bill and put some fire to it.

Curofit customer service informed me that Curofit discontinued the HDL/LDL/Lipid panel test strips for the Curo L5 over two years ago. So it is only any good for total cholesterol and glucose. They officially do not take returns on this so make sure you only need total cholesterol or glucose measured.

Difficult to use. Not a fan.

Its very difficult to check the blood and I used 10 of the strips to check for one result and it wasn't accurate also . very bad customer experience and NO RETURNS !!! useless $99.00

I’m “new” to the “testing world“, but the process, albeit a bit more complicated, isn’t terrible.I can only imagine how much “fun” it would be to get blood in all three spots, were they there.It’s nice to know my total cholesterol, however I need to know, and was under the impression that I would be able to at least calculate the numbers.Not being able to get the full picture that I expected is quite frustrating.Not being able to return the product is even more frustrating.It’s not that the product isn’t capable, the company no longer sells the test strips required to test.I bought a brand-new, obsolete product.There are people out there, whose lives depend on these numbers.Do better, Curo.

I bought this to get a reading for total colestetal because of my doctor's reading of 286, which I could not except because of my diet and exercise. My five readings for tc were all in the 120s, so I went to the lab and did another test. tc =126 so the meter was fairly accurate,and the doctor's was way off 160 points off, when in doubt always get a second opinion.
