I am almost totally blind even I can use this!
Folks if you want a battery powered lawnmower that is easy to use, easy to empty and does a great job cutting your grass, you can’t go wrong with this! I am registered blind, so I’m always nervous when doing things like cutting grass because everyone can see the results. I actually like the fact that this lawnmower doesn’t offer striping, because if I do go slightly wonky, that would be immediately obvious to everyone who walked past my garden! However what I noticed immediately about this product is that the cut it offers is consistent and very neat with very little effort. It is easy to assemble (I did it on my own without assistance and without being able to read the instructions provided), it is easy to adjust the cutting height and to remove and replace the battery.Because I am not able to see what I am doing, I take a little bit longer to cut my grass, but a fully charged battery is enough to do my entire back garden with some left over to do the front. However I did find that it ran out halfway through doing the front garden, so I bought a second battery and now I never run out of juice!I did find that the battery runs down quicker if the grass is quite long or wet, but it will still cut it! Enter the second battery again! With a bit of manoeuvering you can get very close to the edges, but corners are a bit of an issue. In fact it does so well that a family friend who came to visit last weekend thought I had used a strimmer! The grass box is easy to remove, empty and replace, however take a little care when removing the full box as you can get some spillage.I also bought a second blade for this product because I think it’s ability to cut under battery power does depend somewhat on the blade being very sharp. I think as the blade gets blunted over time, the performance will decrease, and I would suggest checking the blades sharpness before worrying that your battery is failing.Battery life is easily 40 minutes per charge pretty much full power, and there are a number of very good safety measures built into the product to prevent tampering by little fingers.I chose a cordless lawnmower because I knew that not being able to see I would probably cut through the cord on a wired one, and when I used to have a petrol lawnmower, I would often lose half my petrol trying to fill it. I did a lot of research into cordless lawnmowers and found many mixed reviews, but this one had some great reviews along with a great price, so I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did.I am now so confident with the product that I even offered to cut the neighbours front garden the other day because it joins hours, and he was perfectly happy with the results. It’s amazing to find a product that gives me so much confidence I can compete with my cited neighbours at grass cutting. Thank you for a great product!

Just been delivered today which is 2 days earlier than said. The mower was super easy to put together. The battery was partly charged so only took 10 minutes to fully charge.Did a quick mow of the lawn and was really impressed with it.It is so light and easy to use and cuts very well.Would definitely recommend this mower

Very satisfactory mower
I bought this mower to replace a 35 years old mains-powered Flymo rotary (which had no grass collector) and the Aerotek has not disappointed. Being a rotary rather than a cylinder mower, it's never going to produce a bowling green with stripes but it does give a decent cut. The first time I used it my grass was about four inches long as I had to wait for it to dry following a week of showers, so I used the highest cut setting and the result was perfectly acceptable without having to retrace my steps. Changing the cutting height is child's play with a single lever on the side. The grass collector has a nice feature whereby it stops the motor automatically when full, and the mower is reasonably easy to clean underneath. It's light enough to carry, too, if necessary. I was slightly surprised to find that the mower waits for a couple of seconds after the safety button is pressed and the start lever is pulled before the motor actually starts but I soon got used to this. The machine is a joy to use; with no cord to keep flinging out of the way (and especially with no loose grass to rake up afterwards) I just walked up and down with it, emptying the collector once, and completed the job in 20 minutes compared with the Flymo's cutting time of 40 minutes plus 30 minutes raking.I had only two minor niggles, neither of which would stop me recommending the mower. Firstly, the manual says that the machine comes with the battery already charged, but be warned: my battery was only about half charged so it certainly wouldn't have run for 40 minutes. (Following a full charge, the next cut did, as expected, use about half of the battery's capacity.) Secondly, the manual itself varies in quality from below average (for content) to awful (for punctuation and grammar). As others have reported, the illustrations are less than helpful, although fortunately, assembling the machine is mostly common sense. The only thing to watch, again as others have reported, is that there is no mention of removing the mulching device before you will think that the mower is ready to go.So, in summary, I am very happy with the mower, thus far at least. If Aerotek were to employ a proper Technical Author to rewrite the manual they would have a five-star product.

A good basic cordless lawnmower
Pleased with this item. Easy to use, does the job. A bit 'lightweight' but quite sturdy basically. Easy to insert battery. Only issue was the foam covering on the handle split and we are unable to replace it as it's glued on. Otherwise, would recommend this as a good mower for Seniors, and much safer than having a 'corded' lawnmower.

Bad battery
The mower comes with 2 batteries. I fully charged 2 batteries before use. Each battery need around 30 mins to charge. However, each battery only worked for 15 mins. The description said it can be worked for up to 400 square meters. It is not true. My garden is less than 80 square meters. I need 3 batteries to finish. The mower only come with 2 batteries, so I have to wait one battery be charged again and finish my garden. I asked the seller and he said it is normal. I am not satisfied their answer because they gave the wrong description. I will not recommended to buy if you have a similar size or bigger size of my garden.

Perfect - but not the 40cm width advertised
A great price from Amazon - quick delivery. Ignore the review that says you can’t buy a spare battery as I bought one from Amazon. Very lightweight, did a very large lawn with only one bar of three on the battery exhausted. Apart from it not being 40 cm it’s great. Gave a good cut even with the blade at its highest setting.
