GREAT LITTLE HELPER
I had one of these many years ago - it was my Mums - she was partially sighted & this helped her to be more independent. So when I saw these on Amazon - I thought I must buy another for my Mother -in- Law.Having failing eyesight puts many pressures on the person to do everyday things may take for granted. This little machine is fantastic. You can store needles in the cover too. I thread many needles with different colours ready for sewing/darning. Mine is red in colour but who cares about the colour - it's the job it does that's important. They will last you many years if looked after - mine is over thirty years old & still going strong. Highly recommended & when I need to I will buy again & again.

Needle threading made easy!
This is a brilliant little gadget! I bought it to replace one that I had had for many years and had eventually given up the ghost! It is easy to use and makes threading needles a doddle. Great if your eyesight is not that good or you have shaky hands!

Small, neat and quick for normal needle threading
This is a really handy little needle threader. It took me a few goes to work it out and I have to make sure that the eye of the needle is in the right position - but once you get the hang of it, it's easy and quick. It works well on single threads and I don't know if it works on multi-threads such as embroidery silks as it seems to select only single threads to go through the eye and doesn't load it all into the eye in one go. I think this is making it sound more complicated than it is - basically, if you want it for threading a single strand thread into a needle (small needles on the right and larger needles on the left) - it's fine!

Works well on small and bigger embroidery type needles.
Works surprisingly well. I mainly use it for embroidery needles, but tried it out on some small ones for future reference, and it worked fine on those too. The metal pushing strips are quite thin obviously, so I take care not to force the thread through, and its worked well every time so far. You do have to put the needle in the right way round, but thats not hard to do. A good buy for threading hand needles

Such a useful little machine
Such a useful little machine. It not only does cotton type thread but for crochet and knitters it does the thicker sort of yarn. Sturdy and comes in a holder so is protected and has the added feature of being magnetic at the bottom so if you drop the needle there is a good chance you won't lose it. Delivered in good time too with clear instructions. Great stuff!!

A brilliant device that really does work
For years I haven't been able to thread a needle due to deteriorating eyesight. In the past, none of the so-called 'solutions' I bought did the trick. However, the INFILA needle threader is different because it really does work. It's easy to use, even with poor eyesight, and with a single flick of a tab it does its magic. Problem solved! Thank you INFILA.

baffled
just purchased one as owing to AMD right eye and arthritic hands, needle threading is extremely difficult. However, I have had 4 tries to use this little machine, with no luck.I have read other reviews where initial difficulty has been experienced,so will keep trying until I get it to work.It looks to be fantastic if only I could get it to work

Very poor
I think this threader is rubbish. It is not well made very cheap looking plastic and constructed poorly. The white lever pushes a metal bar which needs to pick up the thread that you dangle in front of the needle by resting it on the platform in front of the slot you put the needle in, so it is hit and miss and if the eye is very small like Hawaiian quilting needles then you have no chance. If you thread comes out of your needle whilst you are sewing you cannot use it to re thread because it only works with a pieces of thread cut off a spool, so this again is a bad design feature of the product.I cannot seem to get it to thread at all now although it did work sometimes when I first got it.I have now got a clover needle threader which is a little more expensive but threads through Hawaiin quilt needles and you can rethread with it if your thread comes out whilst you are sewing.
