Will any 4 of them fit on a 1x1 inch block in a board game ?

All the figurines are at least 1.5 inches long and some are as long as 3 inches, so I don't think they will fit on a 1x1 block.

Are these animals hollow inside?

Nope, solid plastic. They're pretty small.

Do these actually have a globe that spins and the educational facts just on the outside of tube?

No spinning globe, I didnt notice any educational facts on the tube but I also didnt check, it mustve been pretty small if it were there at all.

Really good value for money

Really good value for money, some need reforming in hot water but otherwise great. Ideal for miniature gaming like pathfinder.

Great for small world play

These are perfect for small world play, setting up mini scenes for toddlers and small kids. Ours get covered in all kids of gunk after messy play and these are easy to clean! They are durable so far, seem of good quality and are a value for money set! I actually chose them as they are toxic-free and this is important to me when choosing toys. I also like the tube they come in as it makes for good storage when not in use. My only current complaint is some of the eyes are painted in the wrong place on one or two animals but my kids will never notice and for what I use them for they are perfect!
