This teapot, well made of solid iron, has an enamel coating on the inside and looks great. But it's not all just about the look. In fact discerning buyers will also appreciate that when tea is brewed in this type of teapot the temperature of the water remains close to the initial temperature (meaning boiling point when poured straight from the kettle) for longer, leading to a richer brew. However as the tea leaves are contained in a metal filter inside, they can just be easily and conveniently removed at the right time, so that the tea does not turn too bitter or strong when left in the teapot for longer. In other words, using this teapot will keep your tea naturally warm, for longer, without overbrewing (so long as you remove the filter at the right time).The look is great too, your guests and friends will ask you where you got it from and it's a great addition to your kitchenware.

A lovely tea pot that pours really well. The cast iron holds heat well but it pays to warm the pot up before putting hot water in.

Holds a 3-4 cups easily. Fast to boil. Works on induction. Handle doesn’t get hot. Looks great too.

Colour fades within 10 uses and leaves marks on the surface counter - would not recommend and wish I had not bought. Also leaks when pouring, not well designed

Good looking kettle. Need to keep the outside dry otherwise it will rust. I have not found this a problem. Makes a good pot of tea.
