This came in a plain brown cardboard box, a collection of parts and no instruction on how to assemble them. I worked out how to put it together from looking at the product image on the amazon listing, but then you need to know how to coordinate the alignment of Earth/Sun/Moon - but never mind that, because the whole thing is of very shoddy construction, some cogs slip, others turn for a moment and then lock up. It would be a nice idea if it worked, but it's useless as is.

I ordered this for my granddaughter who is curious about anything and everything thinking it would provide hours of entertainment as she does have an astronomical telescope in her bedroom.It kept her interest for maybe 10 minutes and I imagine it will now just be a windowsill ornament, which is a shame.Of course this is no fault of the item which did interest me more than her, it seems to be reasonably well made and is pleasing to look at.Kids are fickle, you're experience may be different.
