I just received the Pagani Design automatic GMT. I have a Rolex Explorer but don't wear it routinely but like its simplicity and functionality. So I can compare my impressions with the "real McCoy". My review is an initial impression as I have not had it long enough to test its accuracy and reliability. However, I am very impressed with the quality of the case and bracelet which are made of solid stainless steel. The 24-hour bezel markers are engraved, not painted. The hour markers on the dial are easy to read against a white background. The crystal is sapphire, not mineral. The date is easy to read as it is large and the "cyclops" magnifier also makes it easy to read for those who wear reading glasses. A reason I bought this watch is because it has a Japanese Seiko automatic movement which should prove accurate and reliable; it's worth the added cost. I have an average size wrist. The bracelet is made for a large wrist but PD includes a mini screwdriver to remove links which are easy and simple to unlink and rejoin. (Wish all metal bracelets were made this way.) It is a very handsome watch which should wear well for a long time with reasonable use and care. (I take good care of my watches and don't abuse them.) Based on my initial impressions, I highly recommend this watch. I may later do a follow up update, if needed. However, I believe I will be pleased with its long term use.

Beautiful watch but it dies after being taken off within a couple days…I worn it for 10 hours and set the date and time then left it in my watch box only to discover after two days later the date showed it was behind one day and the watch wasn’t working.This is my first self winding watch and I’m sticking with battery powered watches because they don’t require you to constantly wear them to keep them running.I’d recommend this watch for the look however as for the movement it’s not very good if it doesn’t stay on after a couple days off my wrist.I thought this was supposed to remain working longer than it is currently working…

I've always liked the r***x Explorer 2, and purchased this clearly intentional "homage" to see how it looked and felt on my wrist without spending the $15,000 and waiting 18 months to buy the real deal. This is a nicely executed design- dial is crisp, lume looks good and lasts a long time, movement works well, all functions work correctly including jumping GMT hour hand, keeps good time, looks and feels really nice. Minus one star for a couple of minor details, all surrounding the bracelet. Clasp has a couple of sharp edges that should have been machined better. A couple of the link screws aren't machined correctly, making it tough to get a screwdriver on them to change the bracelet size. And the clasp, which has a springboard to make micro-adjustments, doesn't have the holes milled correctly to move the springbar to any of the positions other than the factory-set, largest position. I have a set of watchmaker tools so I was able to get around all these issues and get the bracelet sized correctly to my wrist, but that was more of a hassle than it should have been. Overall, though, a really nice purchase on a Black Friday sale for just over $100.

Having purchased 2 other watches from the same maker) I was pretty confident that this watch would be nothing short of amazing. The water arrived promptly and on and boxing was carefully packaged. I was immediately impressed by the workman ship and the quality of the time piece. Having the Japanese watch movement is the icing on the cake. I believe I got the second version of this watch which is significantly and much improved. My only other observation is that I would have preferred the class of the first version however this is still a phenomenal head turning watch. I am looking for 2 years of use and service from this excellent time piece at the end amazingly affordable price. Also I was able to shorten the length myself because they had pins were screwed downs. So sizing also to my wrist was done very fast. I think since the makers have decided to switch movement to Japanese movements that is the thing that does not mean to her these watches

The Polar Explorer 2 is one of my favorite Rolex watches and would high on my list of purchased if I ever win the lottery. Until then, this PAGRNE DESIGN is a great substitute. I’m a woman with a 7” wrist and this fits comfortably. The complications work well too. I choose to spend more to get this model because the case is 40mm and am glad to have done so.

Totally underwhelming in person. Returned and bought a U-boat instead.

The quality of this timepiece is amazing . The fit and finish is that of a timepiece that you would expect to be 10 or 20 times the price . Now with a Seiko Mechanical Movement , this watch is nothing less than great ......
