impressed with the video and built quality of the camera. i have Hikvisions cctv installed at my home this was the only reason to choose this cam. the video is good(1080p). i am using sandisk mmc 64 gb it supports it well. App connectivity is also good. But the only con is that the maximum length of the recorded videos is of just 3 mins.

Nice video quality and good performance. But they should bring some update and feature in app.

Today I got a replacement of this dashcam and still exactly the same issue as the first one - connects to phone, takes manual photos when connected to phone but just doesn't record anything at all. I have tried 4 different SD cards of varying capacity none of them works. there is some batch defect or something? I think, because all other recent reviews are also reporting this exact issue.

1) The app experience is best in class - you need to just scroll on timeline bar; on other brands there is hundreds of video clip. This software refinement comes from Hikvision being the leader in CCTV market.2) Voice command is most important, just a word will snap an incident. In other brands - In the heat of moment how do you press a button on the camera, not practical.3) The video quality at night is one of the best.4) ADAS function-a) The speed limit warning from road signboard is useful, it is like a codriver reminding you not to overspeed, the best feature according to me.b) Alert for traffic light going green is nice feature, if you are busy on phone when signal is red.What I wished for.1) Rear camera option not there - this is something I just wised for.2) Slightly on expensive side -

installation and starting up the camera is easy, however, once operational, the SD card is constantly being rejected and requires formatting again and again, making the recording and playback almost impossible.Image quality is good though, and live view of the camera is clear and sharp.

Its an amazing product for this price range, overall built quality is good, video clarity is next level, and so easy to install and use. Definitely you can go for it without a second thoungt if you are looking for basic dash cam.

For a basic camera, both video and build quality is good. App connection is secure and accessing videos is easy which is very important.I deducted 1 star because of the firmware update. The app may prompt for firmware update on connection but after updating the cam voice updates changed from English to Chinese. Although the voice updates like "recording started" aren't very useful but there should have been an option in settings to change the language.This cam has a mini usb port and comes with a fixed power cable instead of separate adapter and cable. So the car socket will be blocked by the dash cam. if you want to use the socket for other purpose such as charging your phone too then you would need to buy a mini usb cable to power the dash cam.

Clarity is amazing even in dark.it has night vision and app interface is also good
