shorted on a gram of silver nitrate
i paid for 5grams of silver nitrate and i opened the bottle and it looks pretty empty so I weighted the product on scale and it's a gram short.

Great value for the money. Much more expensive elsewhere
Chemist here. This silver nitrate was acceptable quality for synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by reduction with sodium borohydride. Much cheaper on Amazon than going through traditional chemical suppliers like Sigma-Aldrich or Strem!!

Powder, not crystal
The product arrived on schedule as advertised. When we opened the bottle, the product was clearly powder, not crystal. It was caked on the side, inside the bottle. The bottle and the opening is fairly small, making it hard to get at the product, but we managed to get it all out. The weight was bang on 5 grams. It seems to work, but we'll try another one, maybe with a bigger bottle or at least a larger opening, the next time.
