These are such great training treats! My dog absolutely loves to do tricks for these. I like that these are single ingredient with lots of protein and seem really healthy for my dog. She is a big dog so these are one-bite treats for her and she usually gets a few per session, which is fine since they are economically priced. I find that they do get a little sticky if I don't use them up pretty quickly once I open the bag so the longevity might not be great if you plan to only give your dog one every once in awhile. These do not seem to cause my dog any allergies or digestive issues, which is especially important since she is very sensitive and picky. We have repurchased these a number of times already and plan to continue to do so!

I thought I was going to do a cute unboxing and give my dogs one treat each like a responsible pet parent. Turns out, my puggles had other plans. These little snack bandits smelled the treats through a sealed bag, teamed up like a canine SWAT unit, and launched themselves up to the counter to stage a full-blown heist.They ripped open the package and each grabbed a treat and ran in opposite directions like they’d trained for this. The only reason I managed to salvage the rest of the pack is because these chews are long and thick enough that they had to actually stop and work on them. Thank you, treat design.I still have no idea what they smell like—sealed bag smells like nothing to me—but clearly these are the truffle equivalent of dog snacks. If your pups are food-driven masterminds like mine, maybe store these on a high shelf. Or in a vault.Highly recommended by two very determined puggles. Also, recommend by one puggle momma who gets some peace and (safe) quiet while the boys are busy working on their snacks.

Look, I don't know what magic Vital Essentials put into these freeze-dried turkey giblets, but my dog now thinks I'm some kind of snack deity.Before giblets:Dog ignores me unless I say the word “walk,” “squirrel,” or “cheese.”After giblets:Dog sits in perfect posture, makes extended eye contact, and performs unsolicited tricks like he’s auditioning for *America’s Got Talons*.I dropped the bag once and he INHALED five pieces like a goblin with a Costco membership.He then proceeded to stare at me like I owed him rent.I’ve never seen him love anything this much. Not even me.I could fake my death and he’d mourn for like 2.5 minutes — unless he heard the giblet bag crinkle, in which case: resurrection who?**Pros:*** Instant obsession* Makes you feel powerful* Ingredients aren’t horrifying**Cons:*** You will never eat in peace again* Your pockets now smell like medieval poultry* The dog now judges *your* snacksBuy the giblets. Over all these are a nice healthy alternative to big brand cat treats. I was hesitant to try freeze-dried foods because I had heard that cats were often off put by the texture, but gave it a shot anyway and I’m glad I did. She loves these little things and asks for some very time I’m by the cabinet they are in. I’ve got a little treat toy that she has to figure out how to open and before these she was never motivated enough to try but how she’ll empty it in 10 minutes. Will definitely be ordering other foods from this brand.Only con is they seem to have a powdery residue to them and there kind of small but that doesn’t seem to bother her.

I am subscribed to these and 2 other vital essentials products (hard nib entrees and beef liver) to the point I feel like I give all this company my monies. But I will say that my pets BEG for these products. Their teeth are cleaner for sure, they have more energy at even 25% raw. I do run out with a quickness and wish they would sell the chicken breast in a larger 1 pound bag like some of the other products so they would last longer, but vital essentials quality is unmatched, limited ingredient and consistent thickness and quality every time. sincerely appreciated by 2 cats and a dog

Stinky (understandably) but my girl loved them right away so, 5 stars in my book!- She hasn't had any issues enjoying them and there was no bowel changes in the past three days.- There are small/thin pieces and big chunks stuck together, which is easy to break apart, no biggie.- My girl is a large dog breed so she inhales them but she actually does attempt a chew to enjoy it a little more. Which is refreshing.Good stuff all around!

Glad I found this brand of freeze-dried Raw Chicken Hearts. They smell fresh compared to other popular brands and all my dogs love this brand.Small bag however and with several dogs, it doesn't last long. So I find this item to be a bit pricey.Because they are fresher, they are not so dehydrated or tough. The hearts cut easily as I have little dogs and want to stretch them out. All my dogs can chew this brand well, even the older one with limited teeth. They are the right size too for chicken hearts, just saying.Overall, this is a very healthy, nutritious treat and I feel good giving it to them. Seems to keep their coats shiny.Great value for the price, just a bit pricey.
