My old thermometer died. I saw this one and it looked much easier to use than my old one so I bought. It is a joy to use. I like that the readout is big enough that I don't need readers to see it. It is so simple to use. Just open it and it's ready to use. No more mashing the tiny little button to get it going and realizing that it was the wrong button and starting over. Sofar it checks our bbq meats for proper finish temps and also the ice cream machine output temps on 3 machines. Like it is all in one. Good price too.

I wish it was waterproof!!! I submerged in water first time and had to buy new one!! I also bought for my son in law and son!
