Quick pasta that tastes great
I really appreciate the ease of preparation for this pasta. A quick zap in the microwave, a sprinkle of nooch (nutritional yeast), and it's ready to eat. This is perfect for a super quick lunch or dinner, and there's no pot to wash.I would describe the texture as dense which gives it a good mouth feel. The price is good too!I think this would be really delicious with sauce or chilled in a pasta salad. I highly recommend this easy to make and eat pasta!

Absolute Convenience and Versatile
I leave the professionals to offer a picture of this product. I do want to say however this pasta is easy and quick and very versatile. I like to heat it up in the microwave, add a can of Wild Planet's Tuna with Red Beans and Corn Salad, fold in 2 tbsps of pesto (I use Rao's) and sprinkle some Wonderful's chili pistachios and some shaved Parmesan Reggiano on top and you have a delicious and nutritious meal which took all of 1 minute and has only one bowl and fork for cleanup. Yep, that's a win win. A win for your mouth and belly and a win when it comes to no dishes. But you could easily add sun dried tomato pesto sauce or regular marina...I use Penne...it holds sauce well. And you can use it to make a mean fettuccine pasta as well, maybe toss in some cut up chicken...why not have a good and decent meal. Why settle? with Barilla you don't have to. The only down side is it is a bit pricey. You can probably find pre-made pasta in any grocery store at a cheaper price. But I like Barilla...they are a fav of mine and I appreciate their steady consistency and delivery of products. I like their quality. And I love pasta.

One Serving Perfection
Making pasta is such a production sometimes. I've tries using a fasta pasta in the microwave, which worked pretty well. My stovetop is not very hot so that method takes 20 minutes or more by the time it heats up and then the pasta cooks. I tend to make too much pasta when I do cook it, then I eat pasta for days whether I like it or not. These little pouches are like 310 calories for the whole pouch and it's a perfect one serving size. You open the pouch and put it in the microwave for one minute. It doesn't boil over and make a mess. 60 seconds is al dente cook. I then add some pasta sauce straight from the refrigerator, and mix. And VOILA cooked pasta with sauce in less than two minutes. Add some parmesan cheese on top and you have a fast dinner. No more eating crackers cause I don't have time to cook pasta. What I love about it:- Super Fast meal- No mess- No waste- No guilt or overeating because I made too much pasta- Season or zhuzh it up with whatever sauce and seasoning for delicious meal in one minute- If you eat in pouch it is no dishes to clean- Cooks al dente (firm) in 60 seconds. And another 15 or so and you have softer cook- Very good taste. Not paste-y or mushy- Great if you have a microwave but limited water (camper van, etc) or don't have safe potable water. Requires no water.- Add veggies or whatever else to snazz it upConsidering it is singe serve size, the price is very good. I wouldn't recommend for a family of 6 to use these, but if you are a single eater, or want pasta for someone not eating meat or other options at dinner, this is a great way to do that. Great to keep on hand if you have grandkids or picky eaters that are still hungry or want a carby snack.

Consistent quality.
I have been eating this pasta for several years and found the quality to be consistently good. I miss the microwavable bowls with various sauces that Barilla sold for several years but these pasta pouches are much better quality than those made by their competitors. Convenient and reasonably priced. Just add pasta sauce.
