I purchased these magnets to use on my HO model railroad as uncoupling devices. I installed two magnets at each uncoupling location with one beneath each rail installed vertically. It worked perfectly. The only issue is that they are so strong that it's hard to install without them pulling each other out until the track is in place. I ended up installing the track first and then placing the magnets in holes beneath the rails. I am going to keep these type magnets in mind for any future projects.

The media could not be loaded. Strong magnet, i used to my magnetic polish it works to create heart but u need a good magnetic polish as well.

These are tiny little magnets. They were too small for the job. I need something a little bigger to pull. I gave them to a friend and he loves them, so they still went to good use.

Well we had an alarm system installed and the magnet locations were not ideal. So there were issues withe door sensors not picking up magnets, cheaper ferrite magnets, in door trim.Not sure why they drilled hole and placed magnet half an inch away, but I'm not the professional installer. So I found these little neodymium cylindrical magnets, that are powerful for their size, on the zon. Replaced the ferrite magnets and the difference in pulling power has the door sensor working now. So thumbs up for the little buggers.

I design and build custom glass posting board as large as 48" x 96", some are magnetic. I use many different styles of magnets, these are horrible, almost zero magnetic pull. I purchased a set from another manufacturer that had an actual N48 rating (paid just slightly more) and they work great. I cant honestly say that these would BARLEY hold an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper on a fridge....AVOID THESE MAGNETS

I bought these to supplement a quantity of magnets I already was using in a display case holding up pocket knives. These were only about 2/3 the strength of my existing magnets. They only worked for the lightest and smallest of my collection.

Fits very nice and snug in a 1/4 hole drilled in wood. Digital calipers measure .2545 inches in diameter. The black does appear to scuff fairly easily. Exactly what I was looking for
