So, funny story- I got these to attach one of those removable screen door/mesh curtains over a metal doorframe, only to find out to my angst that the frame is not magnetic (aluminum maybe?). Augh! That said, if the frame HAD been magnetic, I like to think that with all of them working together, these magnets would have done the job, but of course I cannot say for certain. :(That said, I'm sure I'll be able to think up tons of other craft/project ideas for them.These are some pretty tiny magnets- smaller than a pencil in diameter and about half as wide as a nickel, just to give a good visual reference. That said, they are pretty powerful for their size; I'm able to life at least a pound with these. The cylindrical shape makes it easier to control them when applying and to remove them later on. they come with a small plastic container that, quite frankly, is many times to big for them, but that makes it easier to find them since they take up so little space on their own.DEFINITELY do not let children play with these unsupervised.Overall these are pretty cool.Thanks!

These magnets are as advertised, but some were chipped or had slight flaws before plating. This doesn't affect function but if geometry is critical for your application it could be problematic.

These magnets are small but very strong. These magnets are taller than some of the small magnets that I have. They are great for refrigerator magnets, hold papers well, easy to grab. Also, these magnets are great attachment to screw driver to hold/pickup screws. One last thing, these magnets although looks nice and shiny but it lacks of QA check -one of my magnets in the pack is deformed, not a big deal to me.

When I got these, I was surprised how small they were. However, I was equally surprised at how strong they were! I tested the claim that a single magnet would hold up 14 sheets of paper, and it was true! I'm impressed with these little guys and now I have some good magnets to hold things on the fridge....140 pieces of paper to be exact!

they were a lot smaller than i expected but of course the dimensions are as listed.they mate end to end as shown, and will also stick to surfaces on their sides.they are strong enough, but not super duper extra strong like some magnets you get (especially the flat ones) that you can't get unstuck without pliers or something! so that's a plus. i have some flat magnets that will probably be stuck where they are forever.

i am always amazed at the power of rare earth magnets. Very strong for their size. They sell these as magnetic thumbtacks but I think they could be good for magnetic closures on wood boxes and other projects. They are fun to play with but do not let young children play with them. They can be dangerous if swallowed.

I love magnets, and these are very strong. I use magnets for a lot of things and these cylinder magnets are a special use-case. You can use them in electronics, or for mounting tools to metal.
