Great protection; Simple And Nearly Perfect
These deck guards are pretty awesome. Great price first of all. Easy to install and customize. See my pics for how it would fit a somewhat traditional downhill board. My board has some pretty deep wheel wells and one side effect is that those areas are too thin for the guards. I had to cut them to size. They can be sized to fit with a quick trim of a sharp, heavy razor. I would practice the first cut or two by cutting the small piece leaving the rest longer than you need at first, but they can be cut without exposing the clips metal. After about a week of pretty heavy use on my electric I bent one off my board and was seriously disappointed, but the clips bent right back and clamped strong again. Great protection. No need for mounting hardware which is nice if you hate drilling holes in your precious deck. (I do) the only draw back is that with lots of use they can kind of “stretch” but as mentioned the clips can be bent right back. That’s just a trade off for something easy to remove and replace VS something with mounting hardware. I’ll definitely be relying on these for all of my boards.

NICE PROTECTOR FOR BOARD!!!Recommend to all rider!
Well, at first I was concerned due to the no review but like anything you can’t take it for face value. You might think your board need not protect and like to keep it real. But i am wrong, it reall work perfect on my board and awesome useful stops a lot of impact. My best friend got me this skateboard and I haven't taken it anywhere since my birthday... It means a lot to me and i would like to proetct the board deck from damage. I came Amazon and finally choose it. A very thick and durable rubber exterior that definitely saved my board from a guaranteed chip on the nose when I've lost control of my board. It's very easy to install,on the interior of the bumpers there are some metal clips that help the bumper maintain the shape and also help hold the bumper TIGHT to the board.5 out of 5 stars, good aesthetically and it looks like it'll keep my board safe from the off chance I let it slip and slam a curb.I'll definitely update this review when actually ride my board.

Easy to install but with questionable durability
I liked how easily I could install them, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend them for someone who rides on poorly maintained roads or bumpy, cracked sidewalks. The guard on my nose came off not even 24 hours after I put it on. The left side of the nose guard came off and completely stopped me in the middle of a busy road, throwing me off. My tail guard is perfectly fine as of right now and is only a couple days old. But, I have little to no confidence in my nose guard anymore. Also, the guards tend to bend and partially fold over on themselves at times and it just doesn’t produce a great look for them. They are perfectly functional for people who ride on smooth roads in my opinion, but I wouldn’t advise taking them onto the sidewalk for extended periods of time.

I am impressed
To be honest I was a little hesitant to buy these. I wasn’t for sure if they were going to be as good as they look / seem. Especially on a boosted board Mini X but I have to say, I am impressed. You can see in my photos that they have been installed and fit well. The only part where you might have some problems is on the back tail, the tail guard underneath sorta blocks these Guards from fully fitting over the tail but I have managed to get my to fit well enough. It’s a good material. It’s tough. I am confident of these to protect from chipping the board. I haven’t had any problems with them yet. I have boosted around with them and they haven’t came off. They fit really tight and well.I definitely recommend.

I would say it’s worth it(ish)
These are very good at protecting your deck’s front and back edges but now that i’ve had these for a few months I feel I can write an honest review. They are good, but not great. They don’t stay on super well so that is definitely an annoying factor when going over rough roads. If you spend the time bending it to form to the edge you want it on, it will fit better. The only other con about these is that they will scratch up the bottom of your deck no matter what. At the end of the day it’s not awful but it’s like “really?”These aren’t bad but I feel there are other better options out there. I think i’m just going to tape my front and back edges instead lol.

Beefy guards that will protect your deck and not break the bank
I haven’t used any other deck guard but I don’t think I will either. These guards do a great job protecting my deck and were super affordable. They are made of thick rubber with a piece of metal running through it, so they are beefy enough to take most crashes with a curb or other solid object, they easy form to any shape deck, and they install quick (no tools or anything). If the guard isn’t staying on the deck in some place just squeeze the top and bottom together and it will hold much better. I plan to put guards on all of my decks.

Fits boosted stealth board
It was easy to apply to my boosted stealth board. It's not a perfect fit but just apply enough force and it'll fit. It came undone a few times when I bumped my foot against it but it's not a big deal just be mindful of your footing. It's better than the 3d printed tail guards; those are just plastic, and for $30 bucks ?? Get outta here with that nonsense. This product is strong, sturdy rubber that can withstand a good blunt force, and for only $9.The decision is easy. Happy cruising 🤙

Does more damage than protection
I bought a new board I was hoping to protect for the first few days of riding while I was figuring things out and deciding whether to keep or sell the almost still new board. I covered the whole board in them and was pretty impressed with the fit, but when one slipped off I noticed the gripper part of the inside rubber had dug into the paint I was hoping to protect. I pulled back another and found it had dug into the paint as well and even the top side of my new board…around the entire board. I’m sure it’s better than hitting a curb and smashing up the wood but I would have risked that if I’d known this would do this to my deck from just the guards themselves.
