Mine wouldn't stay open, then flipped backwards. The second one is perfect.
Edit; Love this little EDC (everyday carry) style flip/folding knife.I had trouble with the first one sent, the seller/vendor contacted me,was very understanding and made it right for me.The action is very smooth and solid. This is not a 'Bush Knife'of course, not made for heavy action, but it is one that couldbe extremely useful and has a nice sharp edge.Inexpensive, classy, and 'smart' looking.I will probably buy another one.And thanks very much to the vendor.Original Review (background on 1st rec'd defective knife; This knife looks really nice, maybe I just got one froma bad batch.Out of the box, the blade would not lock open, thekeeper would not come away from the frame as ifperhaps the spring aspect of it was compromised dueto sitting in the closed position for quite a long timeor just not good quality spring steel, hard to know for sure.I was able to pry the keeper out just a slight bit so theblade might lock, that didn't work either.Since the knife was useless at that point, I can say now aftertaking it apart, that the internal parts are amazingnot counting the defective, lock-open keeper, it has some verytiny bearing assemblies as part of the structure, reallyingenious and would be super smooth if not defective.I wanted to exchange this, but the return cost was half that ofthe selling price, and fuel to take it to a UPS 'Store' wouldcost more than the knife not to mention 2 hours of my time.

I can't believe is was so cheap! Looks SO NICE & SHARP! but....
CONS:1. Really a booger to get open at first! The action is so stiff I had to pry the blade out. I loosen the screws at the blade side and just worked the blade back and forth for nearly an hour. Now it opens fine.2. Included case is cheap and doesn't fit well.PROS:1. Fit and finish is perfect. Sleek and sharp, I can find no fault with the build quality.2. Wood looks great and fits in the inset showing no gaps. Looks like a much more expensive knife.3. Very sharp

Nice starter knife for the price
I'm giving it 4 stars as a starter knife, because clearly that's what it is at this price point.I've been collecting knives for decades, so I've seen the best and the worst, and for the price, you can't really go wrong. It's sharp enough, but I wouldn't have high expectations that it'll hold an edge very well. Construction quality is surprisingly ok at this price point. This is the perfect starter knife gift for someone that wears a suit on the daily. I wouldn't mind seeing this with a Damascus blade someday.

In one word... Tremendous!
Let's see... I can't say much other than I love this knife! Quality=mid to high, smoothness when opening= wonderful, Design= slim, sleek, and fits great in my pocket being barely noticeable. Has a standard locking mechanism found on most pocket knives, and it has that "hefty feel to it" that you only see with genuine quality, and the rosewood inlays are almost perfectly fitted. I'd say 8 or 9 out of 10 all day, definitely recommend! Wish I could find more things like this nowadays, since it seems most items are made way more cheaply and without any care or passion just for creating a a wonderful product.

Super hard to open
It’s super sharp and sleek but it’s difficult to open sometimes and the wood pieces are starting to fall out after a few months. It looks super nice and works great as a knife but it’s not super easy to use. It’s a great size and fits well in the hand but again it’s super hard to open if needed for self defense.

Fabulous for a $12 knife!
I suppose this is just another very positive review. My knife was perfection out of the box. A wonderful flip open blade with no distraction other than it being so affordable!Even the leather carry sheath was a surprise to receive with the knife. This is absolutely a 5 Star product with a plea to get it while it’s at a give away price!!!This is as good as the $20-$25 slender flip knives. The only improvement I would note is the pocket clip could stand to be an actual deep carry clip. What it has is fine, however, a deep carry clip would just be better.Aside from that, I really, really like this knife & give it two thumbs up! I be so glad I snatched it up!Do yourself a favor & get one for yourself. This would make a superbly decent gift too. Visually it is very nice! Classy! It is also a great dress nice.

Dull and won’t take an edge
Bought it as a feeler knife to see if I liked the size/style. Knife was dull and could not sharpen it no matter what I tried. Sharpened my kitchen knifes and other pocket knifes to make sure it wasn’t me. Those knives can shave hair, this one can’t cut paper. I didn’t expect much at the price point, but this isn’t even useable. Waste of money.Edit: Credit where credit is due. Seller reached out and refunded purchase in full. No hassle at all. At least they seem to stand behind their product. Hopefully mine was just a dud. Take that for that you will.
