All of the seeds sprouted. A few things I experienced: At first, I followed all the advice from YouTube—placing seeds between wet paper towels in a Ziploc bag, peeling the shell off, refrigerating them, etc. and then planting them in potting mix. None of them sprouted. On my second attempt, I planted the seeds directly from the package into the soil. I used 6 pots filled with soil from my garden and 2 pots with store-bought garden soil. This time, all of them sprouted. I'm in zone 9B, and I think the summer heat and warm soil temperature are what they need.

I germinated the little seeds in a plastic bag and wet paper towel for about two weeks. Then I moved the babies outside and so far they are growing fast and look really healthy. I also tried planting the seeds outdoors in dirt but I noticed those never actually germinated or grew. Hope it helps sometime if they purchase these.

Every single seed I've planted has germinated and come up. I did take seeds out of the husks then planted into pots, mind you it is 110+° here in Arizona and they love the heat. So I do recommend if germinating them indoors to use a heat pad
