ZINUS Jen 47 Inch Dining Table, Solid Wood Kitchen Table, Easy Assembly, Espresso

This table is amazing! It's thoughtfully packed; I assembled two different pieces of flat pack furniture today from two different companies, and this one was far superior. All the corners were protected by styrofoam inserts, all the styrofoam in the package was sealed in plastic (no styrofoam snow all over the place while I was unpacking and assembling!), and the hardware was blister packed on a cardboard card so nothing was roaming loose in the box. It came with the usual L-shaped hex tool, but Zinus also included their own branded hex tool with a nice handle that was much easier to work with. Eight bolts and you're done. The instructions have large, clear diagrams. The package also included an envelope with a thank you note and blank cards to send to friends/family. This company cares about its product AND its presentation!The table itself is lovely. I purchased the natural version, and in person it's a mellow honey color. The legs are solid wood with felt feet already attached, and the top is real wood all the way through. It is a pieced wood, not a solid top. I included a picture to show what it looks like because the joins are very visible, but not messy or unpleasant. The hardware was all heavy duty and included bolts and washers. It would be very easy to paint this table. It's also got a nice weight and it's sturdy enough that I dont anticipate any issues using it as a craft table.Some pictures show this table with two chairs on each of the long sides, but they'd have to be very narrow.This table was a great buy for around $100. I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the whole package at the price point...honestly, it put most of the other flat pack furniture I've bought or assembled to absolute shame. This is a great piece!

I was actually so impressed with this table! Ordered on Friday Feb 16 and it got here on Monday the 19th, despite it being presidents day.The contents inside were all packaged nicely; every piece of wood is in contact with styrofoam and I didn't see any damages to any pieces, so that was a relief.Building the table was also very easy and intuitive. The table top itself is already built, all you need to do is screw in all 4 legs which honestly took under 15 minutes.The table itself is actually VERY sturdy. The legs aren't flimsy when moving or carrying the table and everything seems very secure. The wood is VERY nice. I'm actually so impressed for the price of this table. This style goes with everything in my apartment and is small enough to fit in my living room. Really great purchase. I'd recommend this to a friend

UPDATE: after four months, this table has not stood up super well to a toddler (photo included). He bangs his cup and utensils on it and it’s now badly dented and scratched. With regular use, it’s still great and I recommend it! At such a low price, I’m not too upset. We can easily just replace it once it gets too bad.I needed a new dining table to replace a vintage MCM table I had that was not baby friendly. This one caught my eye because of the soft, rounded corners. Our dining room is small so I wanted something compact, but not tiny, and could still fit guests as well as a high chair. At this price point, I figured even if it sucked, I wouldn’t be out too much cash. But it doesn’t suck! I can’t believe how nice it is. It feels like high quality solid wood, and was easy to assemble. I love the natural color wood which gives the MCM-like shape a bit of a Scandi vibe. Time will tell how it holds up with a toddler, but so far it’s been easy to clean up and hasn’t stained or warped. Best of all, the corners and legs are soft and rounded so my new walker can’t hurt himself too badly if he bonks his head on it. Highly impressed.

This table is sturdy and it is real wood, not the cheap fake wood some are made of. It was reasonably simple to put together, but you have to use the little ratchet tool to tighten it. I found this out the hard way. Only 5 pieces to put together so it wasn't bad. I'm very happy with it. Highly recommend!

This table is lightweight, but sturdy, and very stylish! It was the perfect choice for my apartment. Note that it is soft wood, so if you slam or drop a hard object onto it, it will probably leave a mark, but for the price you can't really expect hardwood. Overall, I really like this table and recommend it!UPDATE: This was still the perfect choice at the time and fit perfectly in my apartment. In a new place now and I needed a larger table but I'm still using this as a secondary desk in my office. The wood is definitely soft as I mentioned and it definitely shows some wear after 5 years of use but overall it still looks good and serves me well. The price has nearly doubled (I paid around $104 in 2018 and in Feb. 2024 it's $177) so today I might look for a nice used table instead, but if you need it quickly like I did, this is a solid choice.

Table looks fine but its way too light weight. You don't want your kitchen table to be sliding if you bump into it and creaking when you rest your arms down. I had this table for a couple of weeks and it gets dents and scratches extremely easily. Not worth the money IMO. Better to get something slightly more expensive but will last you a longer time.

The ZINUS dinning table is the perfect option for a small homes with limited dinning room space. Compact and sturdy, this table is attractive as well. Assembly is quick and easy, and the tools you need are provided, so all you need to do is attach the legs and your table is ready to use. Another plus is that, while the table is made of wood, the table is light enough that it can be moved easily to fit whatever you think it will fit best.
