I had this at a Korean place in Manhattan and it was so good. I loved it because it’s not spicy (thank the lord). 10/10.

These are really good.

I have been eating these since the 90s, and they are my go to dry noodle dish. The current cooking instructions are not great and lead to a blander product, in my opinion. The old instructions have you drain the noodles after they finish cooking, then add 3 tablespoons of water (I use 2 and a half, as I like a thicker sauce), the sauce base, the oil, and then mix. The sauce is more savory this way and you are able to adjust the water amount more easily to suit your tastes. I often mix the sauce before adding the noodles to better control the flavor and consistency of the sauce. I also usually add a 1/2 teaspoon of gochujang and a teaspoon of sesame oil for extra flavor, but I like it just fine without these extras.

I really don't want to give three stars, but it's not so bad you spit it out. If the noodles weren't so good I'd knock a star off, but this so bland. Not a touch of heat either. Very disappointing flavor.

The flavor of this is AWFUL. No salt just burnt something. It's the worst noodle I've ever had. I like nongshim noodles, so I had high hopesMy bad.
