I recently purchased the Bob and Brad Weighted Heating Pad, and it has truly transformed my experience with heat therapy. This isn't just any heating pad; it combines innovative far infrared heat technology with the comfort of premium materials to deliver exceptional relief.The ceramic beads within the pad emit deeply penetrating far-infrared wavelengths, which really do reach the deepest layers of muscle and tissue. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in my pain levels, especially in my neck and shoulders, where I often carry tension. It’s a game-changer compared to traditional heating pads.One of the standout features is the fully weighted design. I wish it could be a little heavier even but that's just my personal preference. The ceramic beads provide even heat distribution and a snug fit that conforms beautifully to my body. The added weight keeps the pad securely in place, allowing me to relax without constantly adjusting it. The adjustable snap fasteners are also a thoughtful touch, ensuring a custom fit every time.Comfort is paramount, and this heating pad excels with its ultra-soft fleece material. The media could not be loaded. After unboxing the heating pad I noticed right off that it is nicely made. It has a good weight to it that feels right around 3lbs. It is soft and has a nice quilted look to the outside. There are multiple snaps to adjust to different neck sizes. I use the largest. The collar comes up about 2-3 inches up to radiate heat into your neck as well. It fits nicely on my shoulders and feels very comfortable. The wired remote has a simple layout with a plus/minus in red for the heat level and a plus/minus in green for the timer settings with a power button in the middle. There are 6 heating levels and a timer setting of 30,60,&90 minutes. A nice feature is if you want to see how much time is left you can just hit one of the green plus/minus keys and the display will show the time remaining. The cut of the heating pad allowed the heat to cover your neck shoulders and upper back. I feel like the heat is evenly distributed and feels nice. I can’t really find a negative to list. This multi function heating pad is way better than the old roll up one I had forever. With the combination of the weight and the snaps it stays put and can be used on your neck, back, shoulders, lower back, legs and abdominal area. Bottom line - if you need a versatile heating pad then this one is worth the extra money!!

The heat is consistent, the fit is comfortable and the timer/ heat level control seems solid. A better alternative to the microwave bags that keep needing to be reheated.

This definitely delivers pain relief, especially my mid-back. The shoulder heat is much appreciated too, but I wish there was more heat for my neck. I would have to tie a long scarf around my neck to hold the heating pad close to my neck. I recommend.

I was super excited to try this heating pad because the brand says it was made by Physical Therapists. Surly they must know where the heat needs to penetrate in a neck and shoulder heating pad. They even say it is "Infrared Therapy for Neck and Shoulders, deep penetrating." Unfortunately, I feel as if they did not and the description was a marketing gimmick.PROS: It is "weighted' throughout the heating pad, not just the outsidesCONS: I asked the question: how weighted is this heating pad? The answer was 3lbs...it is not. It is very lightweight a 1lb or 1.5lbs at most.-There was only heat in the lower back, not the neck or shoulders, which is why I bought it in the first place.-It never heated up enough to make it "deep penetrating" or comfortable, it was lukewarm at best-With the lightweight of the heating pad and the lukewarm heat, it is not worth the $40 I paid so I returned it and bought another brand.-It is made in China, just like all the other heating pads. I felt this was deceiving due to the marketing of the Bob and Brad Brand..especially since they have their own store. To be fair, they never said it was made in the USA but I felt like it was inferred. I should have looked for the made in the USA label harder and that's my mistake but I'm mentioning it so you don't make the same assumption I did; that it was better quality because it is made by two physical therapists in the USA.
