Is the front sight compatible with a rear OEM Glock 43 sight? Is the height of this the same as a oem front glovk 43 sight?

Yes, same height as original glock front sight, therefore lines up perfectly with the original rear sight.

I just purchased and installed. The site does not glow at all in the dark. Is there something that needs to be done to activate the glowing?

I believe yours may be defective. Mines glows very well in the dark.

Will this fit a 75 compact?

No. This sight is designed for CZ striker-fired pistols. CZ 75 Compact is hammer-fired. The slides are very different.
