Great Overall Game, Easy to Understand
Amazing game. Fun to stratigize and plan out what you want to focus on. Pretty easy to comprehend. Read the rule book and as soon as we started playing we knew the game and didnt have to refer back to the rule book. Played with my 8 year old and we both had so much fun! 10/10 recommend!

This game has so many accolades for a reason!
This game is fantastic. It’s thinky but quick. It’s dynamic at different player counts but always intriguing. At higher player counts you can expect to get into each others way a bit more but that’s not a downside to this game, it’s a feature! We love it!

Beautiful and Thought-Provoking
Great addition to my board game collection. There are so many ways to build for points and combines both strategy and luck. It is a beautiful design. It can be hard to add cards to all 4 sides and does require a lot of space to build your sets. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and it is one of the top choices for game night now.

Almost Excellent
This is my new favorite game to play with my family. It seems a bit complicated, but is actually really easy to pick up and learn. It's a definite recommendation.I will say though, this definitely feels like a game that needs a second edition. As nice as it looks at first once you start there are a couple glaring areas that need polish. Such as how the clearing obviously needs 10 marked areas to make playing costs easier. Also they sacrificed playability for art, and I think it was a bad choice agree. Everyone in my family wears glasses, and the fact that EVERYTHING is a small icon makes it hard to read. If each tree card was an obviously different color, rather just having slightly different art, or have one out of its six icons slightly different it would be much easier to play. They also put specific rulings in a deck of cards, and an icon guide on the rulebook. Basically the opposite of the way it should have been. Even after playing it ten times I still need to regularly check what the tree types are available in the rules. And the cave . . . is . . . stupid. But overall, still adore it. I say give it a buy.

Art is pretty but managing pieces and counting score is only for the diehards!
Love that this game uses sustainable materials as part of its packaging. The art is lovely and game mechanics are generally pretty fun. This one didn't last beyond a few plays because managing pieces is a bit cumbersome as multiple cards overlap each other. Additionally, scoring can take forever and can be quite complicated based on all many variables are available to players. Unfortunately won't likely pick this one up unless my young daughter randomly requests.
