I needed a new badge holder because my previous one had broke and I wanted to look for a more heavy duty option because I have gone through several of them over the years. I didn't really know what kind of options there would be for this, but I definitely found what I was looking for, plus more. These heavy duty badge holders are something I never would have thought to exist, at least when it comes to the steal retractable wire. I am extremely impress with how they were able to design a steal wire that is so flexible but maintains its strength and durability. This thing is a tank in all aspects. The wire retractor is something that caught my eye in the description before I actually purchased them, and when I was able to test it out myself I was more impressed then I thought I even could be. Knowing how many badge holder and those janky retractors I have been through, when I finally had this one in my hands and pulled that wire out for the first time, I didnt have a choice but to let out the biggest sigh of relief I could just realizing I will probably never have to by another bad carrier again. I didnt believe that I was pulling a steal wire out of it at first because the retractor was so smooth and natural. The retractor is somewhat large, but not so big it will be an issue in anyway. The retractor will be attached to something stationary like a belt loop or utility vest anyways. Everything on the badge and retractor is extremely high quality and has a very sleek look for being a heavy duty type. It is designed in a way that it would look great no matter what you decide to use this for, whether its an office job and you just don't want to need another badge protector again, or your working construction. The card holder is comes with is an awesome design that offer strong card protection, plenty of space for more then one card and it even has a nice, sleek design. It has a clear side for easy observation of an ID and the other side is a low profile and simple design buta good aesthetic, with a pressure tab in the center. This features offers the versatility of getting to choose between having several ID's or cards in the sleave, to choosing to have one single card, and still having the ability for your card to be secured. The pressure tab is always apply tension no matter many cards are inserted at a time. This is a great feature that brings its limits of functionality through the roof. This isnt just a heavy duty. The best part about this retracting ID holder is you get all these features and benefits while maintaining a light and efficient piece of equipment. This is one of those things I discovered just now, that I wish I would've found long ago.

I bought my first one about four years ago, and after constant daily use, the cord finally broke—so I had no hesitation buying another. The retractable clip is super durable, and I use it multiple times a day without any issues. When I purchased these, I didn’t realize that they were kind of big. I do like the fact that the cable is metal when you extend or retract you know that it’s going to be strong. I have used these so far to attach my ski pass that is in a card form to my ski jacket. The clips are strong and I don’t worry about them falling off. It is also nice because it allows me to use the RF ID reader without taking the card from the case.

I've been using this at work for nearly a year now and it's been great. I've accidently snagged it and yanked it at least 10x and it's still good as new. I'm glad I chose this one!

So far this item has worked well for me. Heavy metal wire, and super sturdy id, and magnetic key passhas worked well.

Very durable and sturdy. Haven't had any issues yet and I've been through so many of the cheap plastic ones issued at my job.The quality and design is top notch! Coworkers have actually asked where I got it an I've had to send them a link. Let's just say majority of my coworkers now own the same badge holder!
