This definitely keeps my drinks cool for nearly 24 hours! My previous flasks didn't do that. Most important though is keeping things hot and this flask does not disappoint! My previous flasks kept things hot for up to 8 hours, but this one definitely has that beat and that's a huge plus for me!The many ways of carrying this is wonderful! You can carry the entire flask in one hand, or you can use the included carry strap, or you can attach it to your belt with its built-in clip!The 'hidden' storage compartment built into the cap is ingenious! Ideal for people who may have to take medications every few hours, they can now have that medication stored into that compartment while always having your drink available to swallow it with! Of course, medications are not the only thing that can be stored there - anything small that's important to have with you can be stored there as well. SD Cards are a perfect example for storing in that compartment as they're small, easy to lose, hold extremely valuable data, and needs to be protected from water/liquids - if you're a photographer or videographer this could be a lifesaver for you as you're typically juggling a few of these cards around.With this flask doing its job so well, I have to agree with another reviewer here who also feels that this should have had a higher capacity. 20 ounces is not that much, especially if you're going to have this with you for 24 hours carrying cold liquids or 12 hours carrying hot liquids. That's an awfully small amount of liquid for that time period. But other than that shortcoming, this is definitely a well built quality product.

First let me say that this insulated bottle really does what it says. Because I like to test these things, I filled it with ice water and let it sit on the counter for 48 hours. The water was just over 39 degrees after 48 hours! That's pretty impressive. Although the 600ml is somewhat small by some standards, I found the size to be convenient in my car with very small cup holders. It also fits into my backpack quite easily for travel. The clip is also secure enough to attach to the outside of my packs. I don't know if it was specifically designed for this, but that clip really works well with PALS webbing that even non-military packs have now. (see picture). Its pretty secure there and it doesn't dangle or flop around.But the downside is that very same awkward lid/handle/lanyard/clip. It is all attached to the lid, and that makes it a bit awkward to open (since the clip rotates around the bottle). You have to hold the bottom of the bottle when opening - something that bothered me only at first. But, when I'm driving, I can not open this bottle with one hand, which is something I've never had a problem with on other water bottles. Its a shame to ding this bottle for something that is also a feature, but it really does limit the utility of the water bottle.If that doesn't bother you, then this is a great bottle that insulates extremely well and you can be quite happy with it. I would give it 4.5 stars if that were an option.
