Bought the Metal Handheld Shower Head Holder in Chrome finish. Wow, this is excellent quality and will no doubt last. If you are tired of those flimsy plastic chrome coated shower parts and need to replace with something better, then you have found the right company and part. Solid, heavy-duty metal. It swivels, it shines, its durable, easy to install. Bought the holder several months back and finally got around to installing it. I dreaded taking the shower assembly apart, but I was more annoyed by the leak in the old existing plastic one and found it in a box set to the side, so I went ahead and finally installed it. The box contained the holder, Teflon tape and basic instruction page with warranty info. The holder was nicely wrapped in a soft clothlike bag to protect from scratches. Use rubber strap wrench to uninstall old plastic part. Detach hose and handheld shower from old part. Put Teflon tape on all external metal threads. Nice included Teflon tape so did not have to hunt some down. Screw the one end onto the shower arm filter on wall side, screw the metal ended hose to other end of holder with handheld shower head attached. Ensure you have the hose the right way as sometimes one coupler end is longer to fit in the holder. All back together. Check the hose fits into the holder. Hand snug together then tighten with soft strap wrench. Do not use metal wrenches or you will more than likely scratch up the finish. Turn on water and test, no leaks. Looks good and will definitely outlast the plastic.

It works great! I previously had a third-party installer put in a two-piece plastic shower head holder, which broke within six months. After replacing it myself with this HammerHead Shower Head Holder, I'm thoroughly impressed. The integrated design made installation effortless, and the build quality is excellent. Bonus: the water pressure even feels noticeably stronger! Highly recommend this solid, convenient upgrade.

The holder is real metal and works well with my Moen shower head. The Moen shower-head holder was laughably flimsy and the thread cracked without tightening.This company seems to understand that you can make both a good product AND a profit.

I really like this showerhead holder. It has a good finish on it, it is very well made and sturdy, it is easy to install. There were just two problems with it though: 1. It only came with one o-ring, even though the directions said there should have been two. The one for the hose end was missing. Luckily my old o-ring still was in good enough shape to use. Disappointing that the one was missing though. 2. It does not fully accept a Moen showerhead even though it says in the description that it will. See the picture, you can see how far in it goes, which isn't far enough. It looks like the receiver isn't spread enough for it to go in as far as it should. Maybe I got a defective one. Anyway, because of those two issues I deducted one star.

Exactly what I needed. Easy to install, well made, and attractive. I used it to replace the plastic holder that came with the original Glacier Bay shower head. There was only one new washer included, but I was able to use the original one from the original head. No tools needed, no leaks noted. It will probably last longer than the shower head!Highly recommended. I would buy it again.

I had previously bought plastic replacement pieces from my local big box store. After the 2nd snapped apart I found this item on Amazon. I received it in one day and installed it immediately. It's great - exact fit & holds the hand held shower head firmly but allows flexible movement. No more snapping plastic parts for me.
