L’Erbolario Lemon Hand Cream - Dry Hands Hand Lotion with Hydrating Glycerin - Shields Skin from Dryness and Redness - Refreshing Lemon Scent - 2.5 oz

About a year ago I came to the conclusion that my old brand of hand lotion (Vaseline Intensive Care) just wasn't working for me anymore, so I went looking for a better one. I tested about a dozen different brands, from drugstores to specialty shops at the mall. This one was the hands-down winner (pardon the pun), for the following reasons:-light texture (NOT greasy), with nearly instantaneous absorption into the skin-long-lasting moisturizing effect (when I put it on at night, my hands still feel smooth in the morning; some other brands didn't last more than an hour or two before my hands started feeling dry and rough again)-light, pleasant lemon-cream scent-because you need only a pea-sized amount, the tube lasts a surprisingly long timeThe only negative I can find is that the sole online retailer charges a high price for shipping, relative to the size and price of the item.

I bought this hand cream as a gift so I can't give a review about it's effectiveness, but if it moisturizes as good as it smells you'll be so pleased! It comes in an adorable little tube, and is apparently made in Italy because all the words on the package were written in Italian. I was pleasantly surprised at how thoughtful the packaging was! It came in a gorgeous little floral paper bag, and several little Italian shampoo samples were tucked inside as well! Even though it's expensive for such a small tube, I would definitely buy this again!

I like the brand, but this smell is a bit strong for me, I prefer the all'olio di oliva. The lemon smells like lemon cleaner.
