Even though this is unflavored it is still bitter. But it's very helpful. Good quality supplement. Mixes well and effective.

This calcium powder is a quick and easy way to add calcium to your diet. It is unflavored, but there is something salty or bitter in there that I can taste. The powder is a fine texture and it dissolves pretty well. It dissolves pretty easily in warm or hot liquids, but cold water is tough. You will need to blend it or use a shaker bottle if you are using cold water. I don't recommend hot water as it typically degrades the vitamins/minerals you are trying to add to your routine. Don't inhale while you are scooping the powder out of the tub as it will cause you to cough or sneeze.I typically add a scoop of this calcium powder to my morning protein shake along with some other additions and barely notice a flavor difference. I think this is a high quality calcium powder supplement and it is easy to take, but it is expensive. There are 25 - 30 servings inside each tub depending on how level you are with your scooping.

Nutricost calcium ketone salt comes as a dry powder that can be mixed with your beverage of choice. I chose water initially, and had to use a spoon to stir vigorously to get it to dissolve. On first sip, it was bitter. I added more water to dilute it more and tried to take a larger drink. Still unpleasant. I mixed in some unsweetened peach tea which masked the bitterness some, but psychologically I was still experiencing it. Within an hour, I had some bloating and IBS symptoms. Once the distress passed, it did not come back later. Was it this product, something else, or a psychosomatic response?This supplement is not as bad as the BCAA supplement that I take with water though. I think the best technique is to mix it with as little water as possible to dissolve it, then drink it fast, and follow up with with another cup of water to get the taste out of my mouth. That's how I continue to stay on BCAA.I am not on a keto diet, though I did cut most all added sugar and heavily processed foods from my diet a few years ago. This is a test for me to add exogenous ketones and see it affects my energy level. I plan to continue using this product, despite the rough start, at least until I finish the canister.

Overall: 5 stars (excellent) - I reviewed Nutricost’s other BHB drink and lamented that it wasn’t unflavored. I do Intermittent Fasting for the authophagy benefits, so supplementing with BHB’s makes sense. But flavored BHB doesn’t, because it breaks your fast. So this unflavored mix is perfect for me or anyone trying to reach ketosis more quickly.Individual Ratings:INGREDIENTS: excellent - 5g BHB and a good dose of electrolytes. I am looking for a more effective way to get calcium into my system so I wanted to try this calcium BHB. It’s a very light powder consistency. When I dip my finger in and taste it raw, there is next to no flavor, maybe a slight tang. The powder is so light that it’s similar to powdered sugar or cornstarch consistency which can be difficult to mix with cold liquids. I’ve found it’s easier to mix with warm foods or a hot drink in order to take it. It has safety packaging for protection.
