Powerful, Easy to Use & Gets the Job Done!
I’m really impressed with this BLACK+DECKER weed wacker! It’s lightweight but powerful, and the 6.5-amp motor cuts through overgrown grass and weeds like a pro. The automatic feed spool is a game-changer—no need to stop and adjust the line, which makes yard work so much faster and easier. The 14-inch cutting path covers a good area quickly, and it’s super easy to switch between trimming and edging. Great for both beginners and those who just want a solid, no-hassle tool. Definitely worth the buy—now yard work feels less like a chore!

Just go for it! Beefy beastly & reliable. Dont worry b/c it has a cord. It's not a problem!
If you're second-guessing 'cause it has a cord.... or doesn't have a fancy name.. Don't.This thing is a beefy beast, and doesnt disappoint. I live on a 1/4 acre. Is the cord a pain? TBH a little, but not much! But it is worth it! No mess, enough power, only swap out string cartridges unless you're feeling adventurous and wanna rewind your own line.It does a great job! Big weeds, planters with wood chips & rocks, grass, edging, or any number of ridiculous nonsense? No problem. And best of all... it lasts. The guy at church, an older dude, overheard me chatting up this thing and said he's had the same one a while and loves it.Just go for it!

Handy until I can purchase a mower
I've used this thing heavily 3 times now. I need a mower but haven't had the spare money for one yet so this is what I'm using! My yard is just under 1 acre. I'ma list some pros and cons I've noticed in my good use..Pros: it works.. really well! As you can see I live in Florida so grass grows super fast in our rainy season if I slack just 2 weeks oh my.. the power is strong, it's easy to work. Auto feed is a big help. I bought extra when I made this purchase I can go through about 1-2 rolls throughout the whole yard.Cons: the wire. It gets in the way so much and my large yard I use a 200 ft cord but that's not always enough so I can't complete my job completely but enough I'm happy with. When the auto feed is low i noticed it constantly over feeds the line and that honestly hurts sometimes! It's and easy fix but after doing it 5 times you're over it. Id just put a new one on but I feel that's just a waste. In the future I will be replacing mine to get rid of the wire.

Cheap (maybe), effective (definitely)
Light and adjustable (shaft length), I find it to be comfortably sized for both edging and trimming. You are able to quickly turn the head and convert it from one to the other. The self-feed feature replenishes the line seamlessly while cutting and the wheel takes the (little) weight off when edging. It works well, making straight edges a breeze and trimming those unmowable corners easy.

I love this BLACK+DECKER string trimmer for my garden and grass. The 6.5-amp motor has plenty of power, and the 14-inch cutting path covers a good area. The auto-feed feature works smoothly, so no interruptions while trimming. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, making yard work much quicker and more enjoyable.

This trimmer is a beast.
I got it to replace a battery operated trimmer, also from Black & Decker. While the original trimmer worked fine, I realized I needed something more powerful to tackle my long neglected yard. Basically the "yard" has turned into a "field" because what grows out there is not lawn grass. Because I didn't mow it earlier this year, by the time I felt well enough to tackle the "lawn" with my new trimmer, the grasses were thick and as much as two feet tall. Two things I noticed right away: this trimmer is powerful, and it does not get "clogged" with the long stems in the areas where grass has gone to seed. I am writing this review because I needed to come online to check on how to replace the string. Based on reviews I read before purchase, I ordered three replacements spools. I am a 78 year old woman with some arthritis in my hands. It took me longer to open the package than to replace the string. So, yes, this trimmer goes through string MUCH faster than my last two trimmers, both battery powered and both used for several years on the original spool. No complaints. This trimmer does such a good job on the thick, tall grass in my yard that I am very glad I decided to switch to the corded model. .... It is also easier to use because it is lighter.

Secure cord holder is not, comes loose quite often and unplugs.
Good power, light weight, does the job well around fencing. auto-Line- feed is kind of hit and miss.
