Is this supposed to only work on perfectly flat smooth surfaces? Ours doesn't work on carpet and gets stuck on tiles. Defective, or just disappointing

Hi Meagatron. The spider is made to work on carpets and tiles, as well as flat surfaces. If your spider gets stuck you can press the left and right buttons together at the same time to make it spin/reverse when it’s stuck with obstacles. Please also check that the batteries are not running down and need to be changed. Thank you.

Does anyone have both the red and the blue version of this spider? Can they be used at the same time in the same room without signal interference?
